Be prepared, Explosive new weapon for Matt to use .........

I never understood the hate for Benny “Snail” on this board. When called upon, he’s put up very good stats several times.

This is first time that I recall McFarland having a good game.
 
You're right about McFarland, Trog. I agree about Snell. He's also the type of back that needs to get in some sort of rhythm. It's not that I think he's a great back or anything, but also not the bust some make him out to be.
 
How about it, did Matt use his secret weapon and explode with it?

I think McFarland was used better than he has been in the past. Can Matt & McFarland both duplicate this success and keep others in the game plan as well?

Snell has a game style similar to Najee.
North-South. No frill. No thrill. No shake and no bake.
Line him up, give him the ball.

McFarland, as Flog said, had a game Sunday. He's more elusive and more of an outside the tackles runner than Snell. And he has some decent hands.

The problem with Najee or Benny, coupled with McFarland is when McF comes into the game everyone knows what's coming.

O'Canada can't disguise a ****-ing play to save his life.

I just don't understand why a screen to the slowest skillset player didn't work. Or the scat back short yardage fail of a play. Also with him running the same predictable **** over and over again, I initially thought it was safe to say he wouldn't be needing a new crayon box for Xmas.

Then I remembered that he chewed the rest of them while scheming up the next new play. So if anyone buys him anything besides a ticket out of town, you have a good suggestion for his stocking stuffer.
 
It was in fact Benny Snell football. Hopefully they let him get more touches today
 
Snell should play every 3rd series or something. Work him into the game a bit. But I know that's not the Tomlin way.
