It seems to me that Ben no longer is allowed to audible out of plays or run no huddle with him calling the plays.

I don't think I've seen him make an audible one time this season, not once.

The funny thing is that last season, the only time the offense looked decent was when Ben would make changes at the line and go up tempo.

The coaching on this team is absolutely embarrassing.

What coaching?

The Tomlin bot responds:

It's a work in progress.

Question. Do you really think Ben,with all his years of experience would not be allowed to audible? That’s just plain silly. And as if he would listen.

I haven't seen or heard Ben make many audibles at all at the line. No signals to the WRs. It's few and far between compared to last year.

There's definitely a lack of no huddle, more than I've seen at any point in Ben's career. It's bizarre.

Still adjusting to the change in terminology. I'd imagine that would have something to do with it. Plus, and this is a big one ... the Oline has enough trouble blocking what's called. What happens if Ben audibles say from a pass to a run? You think all the guys in that group of misfits up front could successfully change gears? I wouldn't trust 'em.

Stan and Charlie has brought this up last two weeks on post game radio show and they say nothin is the play book for it. They script 12 plays to see the defense reaction and then run out of bullets. They forget about a line that either can't block or we make a play, flags everywhere, for holding but stick to the script

Honestly with how inexperienced this offense is It wouldn’t surprise me if the coaching staff didn’t put many audibles in… and even if they did, would it really matter with the way the oline and particularly the run game and deep passing game have looked

I'm going to say it again - Ben is done.

I'm still SO PISSED at his decision-making yesterday I couldn't even enjoy my first day at work...

Lol. Ben seemed to be running for his life in that little clip. Seems pretty mobile actually. In the end our other option is Mason. How do you think he would fair? Better?

If Rudy is on the field we better have an ambulance on the ready. He's less mobile than Ben is at 38...I just don't understand why this offense is SO FREAKING TERRIBLE!!!

Hay, don’t let these millionaires ruin you living your dream. I retired last year at 68-1/2 and went back in February. I missed living the dream. How ******* stupid am I?

If this is even remotely true, it's embarrassing. To think anyone there thought they could compete in the NFL under those circumstances with those limitations makes me cringe 😬

Sounds like we need to go to the bullet store! Just take this week off guys from game prep and install some no huddle...forfeit the game vs the Packers and put in some much needed time on the O. It’s not like GB ain’t gonna whip the **** outta this blown car so may as well go back to the drawing board and maybe just maybe come up with a solution or two...maybe expand our no huddle playbook past 12-15 plays at the ready?

And yet that's what you're calling for. To put Rudolph (Who I think was actually playing pretty well until he got literally assaulted by the Browns in a game and he's been gun-shy ever since) into the game where HE can throw 3 yard passes and run for his life on basically every single passing play. (They said in the other article that Ben has been pressured or sacked on 30% of his dropbacks. Considering they generally try to run at least 30 to 40 percent of the plays that means that Ben is being pressured pretty much every other drop-back DESPITE the fact that he's getting rid of the ball in under 3 seconds.

Ya. Put Rudolph in there. It would be like having the Hindenburg crash on loop.

And as for Haskins... Anybody who's calling for a guy who was so much garbage that he literally got cut by the ******* Redskins...

Wow.

Damn, searing words from Ryan Clark. 🔥 🔥 🔥

This same thing has been said for the past 5 years whenever we play bad lol.. nothing new.

How people care about or watch anything from shows like this is crazy to me. Clark probably thinks we're playing full strength on defense.

Click bait garbage.

We have no no-huddle. As I stated in another post (from an article I read), Canada (apparently with Tomlin's blessing) gutted it. We used to have way over 100 plays we could use in the no-huddle. Now, I believe they said it was a dozen or something ridiculous like that and most of those are used in the 2-minute drill. It is mind-blowing Canada did this and Tomlin allowed it. If this truly is true, Canada is in way over his head and should be on the chopping block if we don't seriously improve this week. I definitely wouldn't give him past this week.

If that's true it's got to be some kind of political bullshit to make sure Ben doesn't make the OC look bad by running the no-huddle and dominating. That's ******* crazy.

The only time the offense really thrived last year was in no-huddle with Ben calling the shots. It's insane to take that away from him but judging from the first 3 games it doesn't exist for Ben.

That's been the case for years.
