Ben Audibles/No huddle

I said it in another thread. I'm completely lost as to why they don't use it more. The success rate of the no huddle over the years when we use it has been great.
Yes, it cuts into the rest the defense will get, but damn, we've got to move the ball and score.

It’s mind boggling that they even admit that 12-15 plays is all they have. Ben has spoken to how they stripped away the no huddle, Tomlin has spoke to “being out of bullets” after only firing a couple...

So how does the OC last with this level of ineptitude when the HOF QB and HC obviously realize how we go into every fight with no weapon?

Yep, taking away the only saving grace we’ve had on O for a few years now for a brand new OC’s pride...brilliant!!!

How’s that working for ya?

Assuming this is true, I'd have to stick to my guns and say if the offense has nothing going for it this week again, I'm ****-canning Canada. We need passes past 20 yards in the first few plays of the game and continue with them. We need passing in the middle of the field. And, we need to run the no-huddle even when it's not the 2-minute drill at the end of a half.

It's amazing the lack off experienced big name assistants that won't come and coach under Tomlin. Except for Munchak there has been.no successful established OCs or DCs that will work for the idiot. A huge tell in what the NFL really thinks of him.

If this is even remotely true, it's embarrassing. To think anyone there thought they could compete in the NFL under those circumstances with those limitations makes me cringe 😬
Teams almost never try to rebuild an entire offense with youth at once… seriously there is almost always a few older vets in the mix

Our vets are Ben, ebron, turner, and tge 25 year old juju…

a. Tomlin’s out of bullets comment may have been about personal, not plays… we were running wideout sets without juju, dj and claypool at that juncture… I don’t think in context he meant they were out of plays altogether

B. As ive said elsewhere, the 12 plays comment about the no huddle is taken out of context too… ben was exaggerating… theyve run more than 12 different no huddle plays this year…

It was probably hyperbole, Ben is used to a lot of variety but with what is effectively a new offensive line you obviously are going to have to trim a lot out until everyone is up to speed…

We were out of plays and personnel

I haven’t seen any singular game with 12 or more no huddle plays this year, I’m inclined to believe they only go into games with 10-15 in this system

We’ve trimmed a lot: blocking, catching, situational play calling...if we trim anymore we’ll be playing effin soccer
