Brady and Manning never fracture their wrists....trade his useless ***.

so we have a limp-wristed QB?

Ugh.....all its gonna take is one good whack at the ball by a blitzer and ben's day may be done

truth
.............

Playing Ben on Sunday with a broken wrist on his throwing hand is about the dumbest thing I can imagine. This is how we lost Bradshaw for good. Played him with a sprained elbow - or something like that - hurt it in a win against the Jets and it was the last game he ever played.

We wouldn't want to do something rash like put Bruce in.

Eh, Niel O'Donald once played with a broken leg...

Yep.

That about sums this season up.

That's interesting. How can he possibly be affective with a broken wrist on his passing arm? I'd rather shelve him now rather than risk jeopardizing the rest of his career for 4 games that we'll probably lose with him anyway. With this poor excuse for a defense and the inconsistency on offense, sit him down and see what you have in your back-up. We're not going anywhere even with Ben.

Ben and Steelers deny the report...say no broken wrist. See twitter.

The Steelers had a QB named Neil O'DONNELL who lost SB XXX because he is color blind and threw two picks to Dallas Cowboys cornerback Larry Brown. The best thing Neil O'Donnell ever did was decline Bill Cowhers invitation to come back to the Steelers in 2004 after Tommy Maddox's season was over. It opened the door for Ben Roethlisberger to become the Steelers starting QB.

Thank you for reopening that wound.

So ratings down at 970 espn must have needed a little boost?
Great news (not), now the Bengals Defense will be looking to make sure that wrist is broken!

Their ratings are down because their signal doesn't get past Dormont.

Rooney: "Ben has a fractured wrist."
Tomlin: "You just can't do that!"

when an injury prima donna like Ben says he's not injured...

Not true. Bradshaw had elbow surgery on his own before his final season which was unsuccessful. He played that season with a bad elbow and the Jet's win was his final game.

Part of the problem with Bradshaw was his failing to follow the Dr.'s advice and trying to play too soon. He talked about this in an interview sometime ago, he had also had some injections that were cortisone or something similar that damaged the cartilage as well. Just an unfortunate series of events due to a guy trying too hard to comeback and play too soon.

He might have had another 2 or 3 seasons if not for that.

so another false report?

hmmm

Could also be a smoke screen either way. Put out another one he has a plate in his head.

Some here may now get their wish, NO BEN. They'll see our back up(s) and freak out for Ben's return. I do hope he is OK, but Coach Tomlin says "you can't do that" .

Salute the nation
