Ben Has Fractured Wrist

in other news, the bengals signed Steeler washout Chris Carter; I'm assuming to try and glean whatever defensive calls that they can get out of him...I mean, SURELY they don't think he's a suitable fill-in for Burfict over the next few weeks, do they?? And here I was, trying to give Ol Marv the benefit of the doubt earlier today ;)

Not true. Bradshaw had elbow surgery on his own before his final season which was unsuccessful. He played that season with a bad elbow and the Jet's win was his final game.

And his final throw in what would be his last NFL pass was a TD to Calvin Sweeney... That's how you go out...

Part of the problem with Bradshaw was his failing to follow the Dr.'s advice and trying to play too soon. He talked about this in an interview sometime ago, he had also had some injections that were cortisone or something similar that damaged the cartilage as well. Just an unfortunate series of events due to a guy trying too hard to comeback and play too soon.

He might have had another 2 or 3 seasons if not for that.

Don't forget about the magic bird that Myron Cope convinced him to have sit on his elbow. How long do birds live? Maybe Ben can have the bird sit on his wrist.

I don't care anymore. Who cares? This team was never going to make any noise with this coaching staff and poor GM-ing so what's the difference? None of it matters. They were toast all along. This team has regressed since 2008. That is SIX years for anyone keeping track. Regressing a few years after winning a Super Bowl can be expected, but SIX years of going backwards? Not acceptable. We have deep, major problems, and until broad stroke changes are made, it doesn't matter if Ben has a broken wrist of if our best D lineman is out for the season/career. Why does any of it matter, unless you think 8-8 is so much better than 7-9? So many fans just can't grasp reality. The "all faith" blind zealots just don't even attempt to understand what the truth is. The "I won't give up until were are mathematically eliminated" crowd are kind of sad to witness.

I don't get mad at them, but I do feel sorry for them.

okay we get it, you couldn't care less. right. got it.

If it is true and he does have a fractured wrist, there is no way he should play until it is healed. If he hits the hand again, it can become a complete break that will need surgery. Playing him would be a stupid move.

Beyond stupid. What, do they think they can win a Super Bowl with this defense and complete lack of competency at head coach? If they know a SB is out of the realm of reality, why would you have your QB play with a fractured wrist. Even they can't be that moronic, can they?

I remember that game like yesterday. Bradshaw was playing lights out. One minute it felt like the Steelers would have one last playoff run. Next minute - end of an era.

****....sucks. Ben is a baaad man, though.

sitting Ben due to injury would be the excuse Tomlin needs for the season's debacle.

Pop. We get you don't care. You don't need to polute every thread with the same tired bullshit

If he does have a broken wrist, the worst part about it is that we will look back on this season after finishing 7-9 and some people will be like "we were doing great until Ben got hurt!"

Rinse repeat ..

Ben's injured. Time to bet against the Steelers. History shows he costs them games when he Is hurt.

Wow you seem to care a lot about letting people know how much you don't care. Constantly posting about something is counter to the idea that you don't care. Just sayin

Ben denies this. He is playing, don't fret haters. 11-5 let's go.

Alby Oxenreiter on channel 11 reporting that Ben's wrist is NOT broken.

no if Ben's wrist is broken people will ***** that Ben didn't say it was broken.
Then if Ben comes out and says it's broken people will ***** he's a drama queen.

I wonder if Ben has broken toes.

Didn't he win a super bowl with a broken thumb and another with broken toes?
