Wait, isn't Bernie using his political platform to try to influence an FBI investigation?

Hilarious

Bernie Sanders: Capitalist Pig

When Bernie Sanders first came to Vermont, he bought a shack with a dirt floor with unemployment money. Last year, Bernie joined the company of Vermont’s 1% and bought his third home.

The money that Bernie used his way to break the $1 million mark and buy his way into the 1% came from the $27 donors he touted during his campaign. Other campaigns were funded by billionaires. But the folks paying for Bernie’s private Delta 767 with its menu of herb crusted lamb loin, chocolate ganache, fine cheeses and white wine were ordinary people who would never be allowed to fly on it.

Bernie could live large on their donations, but he couldn’t directly pocket their money. Not unless he figured out how to sell them something of his own. And that’s how Bernie joined the 1%.

Our Revolution, Bernie’s book, which was also the name of his new organization, sold for $27. According to Bernie, that was the average size of his donations. The actual number was $86, but truth and Bernie have always had only the loosest of relationships. And Bernie supporters were no longer giving $27 to subsidize a campaign, a cause, Bernie’s jet and his consultants, but his wallet and his summer home.

Bernie sold his supporters for $27 a head to a multinational corporation in exchange for $795,000. His book is named after Our Revolution, a 501(c)(4) “social welfare” organization that he set up to influence elections and which can accept unlimited amounts of money from donors without disclosing them.

According to Our Revolution’s former organizing director, it was set up that way to "take big checks from billionaires."

There’s nothing with making a lot of money. Unless you’re Bernie, in which case you make money by insisting that it’s deeply immoral for other people to be making money. Especially the evil 1 percent.

As Bernie told attendees at a United Way event back in his days as Burlington’s top dog, “I don’t believe in charities.”

The only charity Bernie believes in is his own “social welfare” organization that his book is named after.

Someone call me stunned. Bernie Sanders blames Republicans for the FBI probe into his wife's illegal affairs.

Question: Have the Democrats ever apologized for a thing? It used to be funny when everything was blamed on Republicans. But...literally...they blame every single things on Republicans. I had gas, I blame the GOP! My grandma died when she slipped and fell behind her walker, it's the GOP's fault! An NFL football player dies at training camp from heat exhaustion, it's the responsibility of the Grand Ole' Party because they are against Climate Change!

The Democrats are officially nuts.

Sanders blames Republicans for FBI probe of wife

Sen. Bernie Sanders pointed the finger squarely at Republicans for kicking up a federal probe into allegations his wife fraudulently obtained a loan for the Vermont college she once led, saying Sunday the Republican National Committee is “very excited” about the controversy.

The interview marked the 2016 presidential candidate’s latest effort to downplay the FBI investigation, which reportedly is looking at whether Jane Sanders committed fraud to get a $10 million loan for a Burlington College expansion.

Asked on CNN’s “State of the Union” about the case, Sen. Sanders quickly pointed out how the allegations first surfaced.

“I know this will shock the viewers -- the vice-chairman of the Vermont Republican Party who happened to be Donald Trump's campaign manager raised this issue and initiated this investigation,” he said. “… I think what you're looking at is something that [the] Republican National Committee is very excited about.”

Jane Sanders, college president from 2004-2011, structured the loan deal in two parts -- a $6.5 million loan from People’s United Bank to buy tax-exempt bonds issued by a state agency that signed off on the deal and a $3.65 million second mortgage from the Roman Catholic Dioceses of Burlington.

To secure the money, Sanders submitted a spreadsheet that attempted to show the school had $2.4 million in confirmed pledges, grants and other funds to repay the debt.

The document -- obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request and listed as exhibit B in the original complaint -- showed the money would come from 40 separate entries.

However, each entry was denoted only by initials, under such categories as “friends” or “faculty and staff” and with no additional documentation, according to the complaint filed to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.’s office of the inspector general.

Sanders has and always will be a "Professional Politician". It used to be a joke that lawyers were the lowest rung on the ladder in the professional world. But they actually lost their spot based on the actions over the last 25 years of "Professional Politicians". From sex scandals to insane wealth development to generational oligarchies, the people of the Unites States see the truth about what is supposed to be a "service to the country".

This goes WAY beyond political sides. They have all acted so self-righteous, so selfish, that I think it might take 25 MORE years for this profession to earn their keep again in the eyes of true Americans. And it might never happen until a convention of States occurs and reigns in their power.

That's the only hope. And I think it's going to have to get much worse before something that drastic happens.

Would that be a gathering of similar politicians with lower professional goals?

Jane Sanders cries sexism in bank-fraud accusations

Sen. Bernie Sanders’ wife, Jane Sanders, is crying sexism against the man responsible for an FBI investigation into the allegations she fraudulently obtained a loan for the Vermont college she once oversaw.

“I find it incredibly sexist that basically he’s going after my husband by destroying my reputation, and that’s not OK,” Jane Sanders told The Boston Globe. The FBI investigation began in early 2016 after Brady Toensing, a former official for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in Vermont and now a candidate for U.S. attorney in the state, filed a complaint alleging Jane Sanders committed bank fraud.

"Jane Sanders must think Hillary Clinton's campaign was sexist for viewing the alleged bank fraud as a major issue, too," said Michael Ahrens, Rapid Response Director for the RNC.

In publicly leaked emails from Clinton’s presidential campaign in 2015, Clinton's team looked into using Jane Sanders’ role in the college’s failure against then-candidate Bernie Sanders.

Bank Fraud Bernie better keep his moll on a leash

I would love to see Crazy-B and his wife go away for bank fraud. But not nearly as much as I want to see Hildebeast live out her days in an orange jumpsuit for political corruption.
