Big Ben Not Holding Back Criticism of Teammates

On the field of play,...............******** Deion got out of the way more times than he got in the way to make a tackle

How do you know they didn’t have conversations behind closed doors first?

Logic says the coaches tried that first. As a Star Qb Ben’s words carry weight. Some divas who want the ball listen to their qbs. Other guys pay more attention to public peer pressure.

IMO Ben took a shot because the coaches failed to get through to Bryant.

“Because the coaches failed to get through to Bryant.” You really are a broken record. You only see through narrow minded lenses. As you said, weed was his problem, which probably stems from a much bigger problem. The front office and coaches stood behind him through his suspensions, gave him opportunities to be successful when he was available. As a teammate....not because the coaches failed, hIs QB stood behind him, when that didn’t help he tried the leader teammate motivation. What prevented it? It wasn’t coaching...

He goes off on his own teammate on Twitter, from which he was disciplined by the head coach, of which you will find any excuse to blame. When do you contend that maybe, the player, yes the grown man is responsible for his actions and performance. If you read Sask’s post he said he agreed with Ben’s comments but Ben could have articulated his comments differently. It has nothing to do with coaching causing Washington’s struggles, just his own. Nothing about coaching issues.

Sure Coach, the coaches caused Bryant to wash out here. Astute observation on your part Genius.

Ben is saying and doing what Tomlin can not, at least in public. And unlike Tomlin, he'll take the blame if he plays poorly. I like it. Its called LEADERSHIP.
I wonder if HCMVLT got fined for speaking out against the league and refs this season. Unheard of...

and a showboating *******.....

th
There weren't too many QB's, in his day, that threw to his side of the field without regret. Showboat, yes but best DB during his era - DEFINITELY.

First, Deion is an idiot.

Second, all these comments have been taken WAY out of context. I can't remember who posted the link to Ben radio show (thank you) but if you listen to the whole clip Ben is being very genuine and basically answering the questions he was asked.
And if you watch the film, AB did actually fade allowing the DB to under cut him (I will admit still a poor decision by Ben!) on the last play. Ben said they should have gone to JuJu all four times as AB was doubled a JuJu was in single coverage (on all 3 downs). Lastly, Washington should not have leaped

So I thought the interview was good.

This is fake news to create a top story. The media does it to everyone.

Stephen A is a moron that thrives on his big mouth and a self proclaimed expertise of football and basketball.

He IS A STEELER FAN. No problem here with Steven A ever speaking his mind on the Black & Gold. Hell we talk trash here, we may as well have a voice in the national media....

Steelers Versus Cowboys in DA BOWL.......................

AB has already publicly stated Ben's comments are fine, he has "big shoulders" and can handle it.
So why is this still a story?

Exactly - and the article on NFL.com mentioned Ben (said) he should throw to JuJu more. Not what he said.

So why is this still a story?

Because it's the Steelers. A huge and inviolate fanbase that brings a lot of eyes and ears to the TV and radio. It's almost always a troll job and much ado about very little...but it puts ***** in seats, so to speak.

Did you ever notice that whenever one of these NFL talk shows has a feature on the Steelers it's always at the end of the program....milk it baby.

If been reserves the right to criticize his teammates, who is going to criticize him? Interception every game!!! I know he is better than that.

Actually, I'm looking forward to Ben admitting he made a couple terrible throws AND coming out on the radio and saying the refs completely screwed up on 3 scoring plays for the Bolts as well as a long gain for the Steelers. I hope he comes right out and says something like "at first we were joking about how the refs were fixing the game. Then suddenly it wasn't so funny."

I would ******* LOVE THAT!
