Bobby Wagner

Would be nice, but not really feasible, Steelers have more pressing needs and are nowhere near being a championship contender. Which at this point in his career, I'm sure is the only thing that interests Wagner.
 
He actually was ranked the top overall LB in PFF. That said he’s going to be 33 so unless he signs a very cap friendly deal I would pass. There’s a pretty good ILB crop in free agency this year. Tremaine Edmunds, TJ Edwards, Germaine Pratt, and a guy I would target in Bobby Okereke as he’s 26, rated the 22nd overall LB, and tested extremely well at the combine. Spotrac says his market value is 3 million a year. I think he’ll get more. I’d be happy giving him what we are paying Jack at this point.

My doubt is if all those guys aren't getting a new contract with their current team, the Bengals have the money for example
 
If I'm choosing between Myles Jack and Bobby Wagner, I choose Wagner and I like MJ. Wagner played all 17 games and had 124 tackles 6 sacks and 2 picks for the Rams. The last year he DID NOT have 100 tackles was 2014 when he had 97. There is no question I would release MJ and free up his cap space for Wagner. All day every day. Don't care if he is 33 or not. 9 time All-Pro and a lock for the Hall of Fame. I would have the new LB coach Curry on the phone right now.
