Yeah, you're definitely looking at some rebuilding. Hart has a good track record of talent evaluation and the Braves always have money to spend, so they should not be down long.
 
Opening day win feels good.

I didn't think it was possible for ATL to have down years. Always seemed to be good and on the cusp. A first for everything, I guess. Maybe because I almost forgot about them is a good reason they are on the down slope.
 
I'd bet 90% of current Braves fans have no idea who Dale Murphy, Bob Horner, Ken Oberkfell, Glenn Hubbard, and Bruce Benedict are. They couldn't name 5 players from the 80's when they sucked.
 
I remember those guys and was never a Brave fan. How can any respectable baseball or Brave fan not know Dale Murphy? That would be the test, hook. lol "Who? Nevermind."
