Broderick Jones

Only reason Jones is at RT is because Moore stated he can't play RT because of a shorter leg. Otherwise they would be flipped. Next season will be the real test for Jones anyways. Moore won't be around.
Jones is at RT because his pass blocking ability has been questionable from day 1. He's done nothing to alleviate those concerns. Do you really want him protecting our QB's blindside?

As for next season - I don't see anyway Moore isn't brought back to play LT. Jones will be given more time to develop into the player that he has the tools to become. Hopefully he uses it and it happens.

It also doesn't hurt to have some good depth at tackle (and the entire OL) as we've seen this season. Two of the three are on rookie contracts.

Well Moore stated he can't play RT because of a shorter leg issue.

I personally think it is highly doubtful that the sign Moore to a big contract to come back. This will be Moores pay day.

There's no way they are taking a chance that Jones straightens himself out and Fautanu comes back perfectly healthy. Moore will be back one way or another so the OL doesn't take a huge step back.

If you are being honest, the way things are right now @ OT, Moore is the best CURRENTLY. This team has made the investment of time into Moore, and it is being shown to have been a good decision. I personally think it would be foolish to let him walk away. They need to re-sign him, get Fautanu back healthy next year and hopefully Jones gets healed up and works his azz off. Then we can all ***** about having 3 starting calibre OT’s and only 2 spots to play them.

That's pretty much how I see it.

There are too many questions surrounding Jones and Fautanu for the Steelers not to bring Moore back.

It's unfortunate the Steelers are in that situation after having spent consecutive first round picks on the position, but they'll have to adapt to it. If Jones and Fautanu don't pan out for whatever reason, it could really set the team back longer term, even if Moore fills the LT spot going forward. Those picks could have been used on other positions.

Anything is possible.

A Tackle with as many starts as Moore has a healthy FA market. One the Steelers will not pay with two 1st round tackles. Moore will be gone and they will decide who goes where. The blind side days are over anyhow. Watt, I think both Bosa brothers for sure SF one and I believe Crosby all line up on offenses right.

B.Jones is going to have to switch from Lucky Charms to plain Cheerios, to reduce the sugar on the brain syndrome.

He is going to have to work hard and somehow re-think his stance on “poor me” having to play in a different spot than what he wants to play. I’m sure money is a factor as to pay from LT to RT. I truly hope he can find team mate in there as well.

A lot can happen over the off season and I truly hope Broderic’s good person side dominates his goals.

I also hope that what ever ailment he has been said to be enduring, heals up fully and we get big body worker back.

Actually like your election......I'm just happy trades end today and we can move on. Although election probably not ending today.

Doesn't matter who lines up on what side. The left side is the blind side for a right hand QB

Ball comes out easier from front in modern game. Why Those guys line up on the front side.

Like so many things of past glory NFL, a lot has been taken away from the game.

It’s still a physical game but more of a finesse physical. James Harrison will go down as the LAST true physical dominant player. The league has seen to it that those type of players are no longer needed.

7 & 9 step drops are near extinct, I think the average release from QB is like 2.8-3.1sec. (Not going to research it).

Players are more specialized in narrow departments as compared to 15 years ago.

The Greed Machine just keeps making it easier to accommodate the depleting talent pool.

Parody is responsible for the majority, but it was owners / commissioner who implemented to this degree.

When Watt comes free at the QBs front side. Good luck holding on. From the back if you don't have arm up you just get sacked. From a straight on angle you are fumbling 80 percent.

troy is your lt next year, you draft or sign a rt to push jones and the winner starts if jones loses his option doesn't get picked n could be traded
