Broderick Jones

So everything depends on the type of injury it is.... if its going to limit his movement going forward, or miss time into next season, then you play an expensive waiting game and dont tender him

Olinemen are gold right now... you absolutely tender a guy like jones if the injury isnt a factor

The guy was starting to play a really above the neck level-no pun intended. Imagine if they started him at is drafted position instead of wasting time with Dan Moore Jr. The guy might be a future pro bowler, but it probably won’t be with the Steelers

I make a post to talk about something different, youf#cks turn it into another Tomlin sux thread
Relax a bit. Hopefully Jones is good in the end........doesn't change the facts about Tomlin though. It simply is what it is at this point. that said.....I feel a win today. If Rodgers has a good game and we get 5 plus TO's.....I feel a 2 or 3 point victory!!!!! go Mikey!!!!! Get it done!!!!

Meh, I give him his credit when it's do and criticize him when I feel the need to. I just choose not to dwell on it WEEK IN and WEEK OUT...
But they look the same WEEK in WEEK out. Even when they do win it looks the exact same. Same route concepts. Same guys up front getting manhandled. Same giant Gulch over the middle.

Jones has had his moments this year. At his worst, he's been real bad. At his best, more than servicable and it appeared he was playing better in recent weeks. If nothing else, I do get the feeling he's a good locker room guy and he's shown some leadership traits on the field. I hope he makes a full recovery and continues to improve.

Seattle picked up option on Charles Cross. It was a hair under 18million. That is the market for Broderick Jones.

That's what makes it tough because Cross is a much better player right now.

If this is some long term issue and it really did happen by another player doing something unsportsmanlike, it could be an interesting investigation by players union. How do you compensate an individual or a team investment for someone being a jerk? The NFL soap opera rolls on…

Sacks Allowed (Through 11 Starts)6 SacksHe started the season slowly, giving up 4 sacks in the first two games, but improved significantly over the following 9 games, allowing only 2 more.

So there was significant improvement after the first two games.

I think the man is on track and developing..
