I hadn't been in a McDonald's since I retired 5-6 years ago, but found myself about 60 miles from the house in Wickenburg around noon today, so I stopped in.
A "Valu-Combo" was anywhere from $12 to $16! I decided that I wasn't that hungry for junk food.

On a positive note, as I was driving home, near the Ben Avery shooting range on Carefree Highway, there was a vendor on the side of the road selling Trump banners and ammo.

That's for sure. I have some close relatives with a nice chunk of property in Idaho.

I do enjoy our pristine weather in winter here in Florida, but I do miss the country and living in a remote area in your own little world with just the sounds of nature around you.

Which we have here, but it's just a tropical climate and flat as a pancake.

For 6 months out of the year it is ridiculously humid. The rest of the year it's perfect weather in Northeast Florida.

It's relative to the long cold dark winters up north.

It's a shame to waste San Diego on California.

They pretty much have our winter weather here.

Eventually something has to give in California and it will probably have to get worse before people cast off the politicians destroying the state.

The year round weather is perfect, it's just everything else that you'd have to contend with.

This could not be a truer statement. I spent a few years there, and would go back immediately if only Covid had done what the libs said it would do. With a reduction of 75% of the population in CA, and new thinking of how to run that State, I would be back there tomorrow.

I have lived for a period of time in both CA & FL, there is absolutely no comparison when it comes to weather.
