"Brown-out" Sunday had nothing to do with an injury

Ben said there was no incident between he and AB, he talked to AB Thursday morning and didn't see him again the rest of the week. He doesn't know what happened to set AB off.

Ben and several others have texted/called AB and he hasn't responded to anyone.

The fan also said AB didn't show up for the end of season meetings yesterday either

Anyone see Ryan Clark with Scott Van Pelt? He said in training camp when Wallace turned the deal down, he had an idea they'd offer AB a contract. Clark said he told the strength coach if you give that guy money you're creating a monster.
Then sometime during that training camp he and AB almost got into it, because AB was screaming at Lebeau and others on the D for being physical. AB was screaming, " don't touch me, I'm the franchise here"

Is it mandatory? Was he excused?

IF the answer is YES and NO, then slap him with a two game suspension.

IF

**** Ryan Clark, he's a mouthpiece for the league now and the national media has it's marching orders from the Steelers front office to absolve them of any blame for this trainwreck of season by blaming it all on Bell and AB and shutting down ANY talk about management.

Scapegoat anybody they can by feeding bullshit stories through the media pipleline, yeah, it's happening....it's ALL over the NFL network too, everybody rounding up the usual scapegoats and

NOT ONE WORD about the FAKE PUNT MASTER at all

None, nada, zip

and the sheeple lap it up

I feel like not only was there a change in our identity but toxicity levels started to rise with the "young money" crew.

This AB soap opera is awful. It denigrates the premier NFL franchise and makes the Steelers look incompetent, from the Art Jr to Cool Shades. What a disgrace.

I am not understanding of the fiscal ramifications, but I'm fine with AB gone immediately. At 31, AB's best days lie in the past. F*ck him and move on.

93.7 the fan. I think it is on radio.com

Ben just had his show, not sure if they put it as a podcast on their website or not.

Why does Ben do a weekly radio show during the season?
I'm sure its not for the money...

I think is counter productive to team unity...

There is nothing good that comes from these types of non-value added off the field activities, especially anything media related.

Loose lips...sink ships.

money gets to some of these guys and seem like they can't handle it. Goes to their head. AB is a diva, Boz becomes a cluster, Bell, well, we know his chapter. When did the Steelers become a comedic novel?

No Bell, no AB, no Ben....exacty the way the yinzers want their Steelers!

you want nothing but good Catholic boys who bend over when the headmaster tells you

Now just draft a couple more FBs for those FAKE PUNTS thats all the rage and u be good to go!

time to get rid of the divas in the locker room.

jus like I perdicted

To add to what Coryea said, Ben texted to clarify to Cook to say there never a ball thrown at him or a verbal altercation between him and AB. He added he contacted him Thursday and things were ok. Still reports that he didn't return to call to any players or ARII. The Fan will play the Ben interview at 1:00 pm.

This whole thing is bizarre, but it's been on par with the weird actions Brown has been involved with over the past year.

I know people thought the best when they gave the MVP to Juju, but I'm not so sure. It could just as easily be a divided locker room. And I've heard nothing that lays it at the feet of Ben, but I'm just sayin.......

He doesn't get into the stuff said at practice or locker room during the season. It's just about the past game, did plays work the way they thought, what happened on this play, etc. They look ahead to the next game.
It's not like he's in there saying, yeah Conner slammed his helmet down in practice because a defender made contact with him, or anything like that.

It scares me a team without AB unless you go get another star. That passing game didn't look all that good to me against Cinci. Double team JuJu and things don't look so good without another weapon on the the other side. We need AB for another year or two. He might be one of those freaks that can still play great well into his 30's.
