I like Josh Allen. I have rooted for him every single postseason game besides the one we played him in. He is fun to watch and a great regular season QB. He is also the biggest choke artist in the league. He finds away to lose every single time you think maybe its finally the Bills superbowl year. It's infuriating but it is what it is. I will still root for him if the Steelers aren't in it.

I wouldn't call Allen a choke artist. The Bills' defense on the other hand.......

You know Litos…..when last season ended and the path to the draft / FA started it seemed like it took forever. Now that it’s almost here it seems it went by in a flash. I used to laugh at my dad when he would say “ where did the ******* time go?”

How’s it going in Venezuela? Things settling down? Life getting a little normalcy?

thanks for asking but not really well here after the earthquakes, many deaths and families that lost their homes too. Fortunately we personally did't suffer any significant losses but the country in general is in a very low morale point despite the great solidarity efforts done by those with the possibility to help (wether it is donating, giving a hand to the rescue efforts, lending heavy machinery or tools, doctors working for free, etc).

It's been very traumatic for many people and things won't get to normalcy anytime soon, especially when all the efforts came from the own citizens and international aid, while the government lost time (days) to coordinate and initiate any rescue efforts. These ******* are useless

Should be an interesting camp with all new coaches.
McCarthy already implemented big change though.There will be no live tackling under Big Mike but there will be more of a focus on footwork.
That’s a big *** change from the past training camps but he says that’s how he’s done it in the past. Interesting! Well it reduces the risks for injury which he also noted.
Looks like Will Howard starts out as the number three splitting reps with young Drew per the Steelers.
Wouid expect Mason, Will, and young Drew to play the three pre season games.

Did you happen to watch the playoff game versus the Chiefs in 2022? You know, the one where Allen was 27-37 for 329 yards passing, 4 touchdowns, 0 interceptions, and 68 more yards on the ground? Against a top ten defense? You know, the one when he got the ball back with 1:02 left in the game down by 4 and drove the Bills 65 yards to a go-ahead touchdown with 13 seconds remaining on the clock? And they still lost 42-36?

What infuriated you about Allen's performance in that game? What spoke "choke artist" to you? I know: He should have thrown that 19-yard TD with ZERO seconds left...right?

It's interesting some of the posters on here with the homosexual comments. If they disagree with your post and you give them pushback, they start going gay. Don't know if you are 12, cant articulate your argument, are in the process of coming out of the closet, or flat out flaming already.

I was both critical and complimentary of Allar. He's a mixed bag as most QBs taken past the 1st are.

But here's essentially how some posters on here have responded to my posts about Allar

Me: He's got a lot of warts but he's got some elite traits too. He could be something

Poster: Allar sucks

Me: Never said he's gonna be all world but he has potential

Poster: You are gay and want to slob on Drew

Exactly my point. So close but so far. He has never done enough to win in the biggest games.

I wonder if it's because we expect these almost finished products coming out of college. The stats have gotten crazy college QBs put up, and if a guy doesn't have that, for whatever reason, he won't make it. I saw something on Bert Jones the other day, and looked up his stats. Then I clicked on his college stats. What made this guy the 2nd overall pick? I know it was 1973, but still. Marino threw 43 picks his last two years in college. My point is I'm not sure if college production is always a sure predictor of what a QB may be in the pros.

I'm a PSU guy, and never have been enamored with Allar, but he is big and has an arm. There is something to work with there.

Exactly......its very hard to predict who is going to be great

Yeah P Manning looked like a sure thing and he ended up a HOFer. If you knew Mahomes was gonna be the stud he is he wouldn't have lasted until the 10th pick (of course the Chiefs were nuts about him predraft). Then you have Brady or guys like Rodgers who went like 26th, Ben went 13th, Marino went late in the 1st, and even guys like Wilson and Prescott who didn't go in the 1st. Lots of QBs go later then they should have.

On the other hand how many frigging busts have there been taken high in the 1st round. The system they were in college, the speed of college vs pros etc etc all lay to uncertainty.

Allar starts with size and a rocket arm. Whether or not he becomes something who knows but he's got traits that made it worthwhile to take him in the 3rd. The Steelers FO, regardless of their miscues know 10x more than anyone on this board in regard to potential. McCarthy has been around Farve, Rodgers, and Prescott. I think he's got a pretty good idea of what a good QB possesses. There was no QB we could have got in the 1st that was a sure thing. They made a move in the 3rd. Give the FO the benefit of the doubt. McCarthy is going to be more effective with Drew's development than Big Game James
