Moving on from the steaming **** show this past Sunday, we face Buffalo.

Offensively:
Josh Allen and James Cook push that offense. We know that. So we're going to be forced to play catch-up or maintain some sort of semblance of an NFL offense and try to match scores.

Defensively:
Bills are 12th overall in yards given up this season, and 13th in Yards Per Game.
They rank 30th in Run Defense coughing up 148.9 per game.
Their pass defense is #1 at 168.2 yards per game.
13th in total Takeaways (13 - 7 interceptions, 6 fumbles)
They have 26 sacks on the season, ranking 15th.

So, how do we attack their defense? We know that our defense will put a **** product on the field with hopes that TJ can nullify plays with pressure and get a sack or two, rotating players without rhyme or reason. That's our defensive scheme. Embrace it. Live in it.

So... Buffalo is also first overall in penalties with 55. Undisciplined. Thankfully, our team is highly disciplined and well-coached. Wait. Hold up. That's backwards. Buffalo is first in penalties committed if you reverse the total.

We're ******.

Dion Dawkins and Spencer Brown, starting tackles for the Bills could be out against the Steelers.
Texans sacked the Bills 8 times.
Could someone in the know send this tidbit to the Steelers coaches. Perhaps, for a change, they could game plan accordingly.

This means they will only have 1 DL on the field with 2 OLB's on 3rd downs. I see Allen and Cook running for at least 150 yards combined, getting a ton of yards on 3rd downs.

Question is, how many Bills fans will be there? More than GB had?

Trust me! The Bills will come in very prepared with their backs against the wall having to win this game.
Josh Allen is by far the best QB we have faced this year and he will exploit Tomlins’ ridiculous, overpaid defense.
The Steelers offense is very easy to gameplan for.
They don’t go over the middle instead restricting it to passes outside the numbers.
The running game is rarely ever established and they get away from it too soon opting instead for short passes in the flat, the occasional sweep with Kenny G., short sideline passes.
This could get ugly Sunday!

My money says the Steelers will win this game.
Then what? Lose to the Ravens twice and Lions.
I see…. Go 9-8 and we have another Tomlinship.
I’m tired of it and want this nonsense to finally end.
This needs to blow up in Tomlin’s face after getting everything he wanted in the offseason and proclaiming that his defense would be legendary.
The guy is a fraud and this has got to end.

I’m just saying that much like the Colts game, which no one gave the Steelers a chance to win, not many are giving the Steelers a chance to win this game. This is just the type of game they win, rather than the very winnable game at Chicago. They’re going to win this game.

We've seen this story before. Backup OTs have feasted against our pass rushers more often than they should.

Harmon and Jones are both already out for the Steelers. We'll see what Rodgers does with his wrist and DK slowed with the ankle.

The biggest worry is great QBs just shred this defense. Even without any good WRs, I'm not sure what the Steelers will do to stop Josh Allen. I think this will be another game they'll have to rely on forcing turnovers. Potentially feels like a big game for Cook and the Bills' TEs.

I’ll be rooting for them as always, but part of me hopes you’re wrong. Otherwise it’s still just treading clouds in purgatory. We need to rebuild from the bottom at this point. They’re not going anywhere in the postseason, if they even make it. I’m done with this average BS.

Rogers is now the limp wristed qb of the nfl.
Tomlin loses by nine points. Mark it down.

AMEN!

There's a game this weekend?

Of course I kid. But just not as important in the blitz world as it used to be

It's at least two more years of purgatory, as there is no way Rooney pays the last two years of Tomlin's contract while he's working for another team or a TV network.

I suppose there is the possibility of a trade, but are teams truly going to be beating down the Steelers' door to make it happen?

I'm not sure how real the Bears interest in Tomlin was last offseason, but they definitely missed out having to settle for Ben Johnson.

Caleb Williams would look like Warren Moon if Tomlin was coaching him. No doubt.

Joking aside, it kind of reflects the additional downside of Tomlin continuing to coach the team for the next couple seasons no matter what happens this season or next.

It's almost a certainty that the Steelers will draft a QB in the first or second round in either 2026 or 2027.

I would not want Tomlin and his, let's say, "unique" approach to offensive football anywhere near the kid and his development, but maybe that's just me.

Didn't matter that the former San Diego Chargers were down to their 3rd string tackles a month ago. Doubt it will matter here.

Buffalo is not as good as they have been lately. Their fans are closer to jumping off a bridge than we are.

They better not stand in our way. We are going to Geico pig , “weeee we weeeeee” all the way down.

We all want it to end. Well most of us. (I am talking about the Tomlin era). The last few seasons we sat back and waited to see if Tomlin would adjust his philosophy and scheme on both sides of the ball. He simply refuses. Would love for Tomlin simply to move on after this season.

I am tired of the talking heads in the media now all of a sudden hating on Tomlin. I mean where were they 5 years ago? Nothing has changed for a decade now. Same old same old.

I understand and agree completely. But this is the Steelers pattern over the last several seasons. Lose winnable games, win games that you have no business winning. It’s how the Steelers stay in the mushy middle. I agree, it sucks.

I’m just glad that former Steelers players are not just seeing it, but calling it out, James Harrison being the most prominent and vocal. Wholesale change is absolutely needed. I believe the talent is there, but the scheme, in game adjustments and just coaching in general is not. The Steelers can do better.
