Porter and Lloyd used to talk a fair amount of **** as well. The way I see it, if you're afraid to tell the world you plan to stomp the **** out of a team, maybe football isn't the sport for you. I'd love it if our defense said every week we expect to not let them score a single ******* point, and to not gain a single ******* yard. That's our ******* job. We want to hit every ************ on the field so hard they never want to see the inside of a stadium again. Football is a sport where a team is supposed to impose it's will on another, and you should have no problem telling another team that and then going out there with the intent of backing it up every play. It's called skin in the game, and I for one am all for it.
I HATE it when we come out talking and acting scared. "Ohhh, we need to play the perfect game, this team is so amazing, we're just happy to be here and show what we have" bullshit. **** that, drives me nuts. As Rex Ryan used to say, I'm not here to kiss the ring.
