How does "team" have anything to do with his predictions? I said Bush should play better then you quoted me and said "team".

Porter and Lloyd used to talk a fair amount of **** as well. The way I see it, if you're afraid to tell the world you plan to stomp the **** out of a team, maybe football isn't the sport for you. I'd love it if our defense said every week we expect to not let them score a single ******* point, and to not gain a single ******* yard. That's our ******* job. We want to hit every ************ on the field so hard they never want to see the inside of a stadium again. Football is a sport where a team is supposed to impose it's will on another, and you should have no problem telling another team that and then going out there with the intent of backing it up every play. It's called skin in the game, and I for one am all for it.

me too, but that is mostly my upbringing and age. Smacktalk was limited to face to face because no Internet. There was still some chatter, but it was apt to get you a few extra laps come next practice. smack is part of locker room culture but the twitverse makes it so everyone can see. Some guys get off on it so I don't blink much as long as it isn't a distraction. In this case, however, Bush just having some fun with the media. If it doesn't get out of hand, whatever. I am glad to see some fun in the locker room. Better than post loss interviews and "have you heard from Bell" drama.
To be fair Bush had a lower snap count in the Rams game. On the field less chances are you will make less plays. He did cover well in the opportunities he was given.

They are starting to limit his snap count for some reason. He hasn't done anything in the past 3 weeks. He may have hit the rookie wall. I don't remember him having any pass defenses. So I have no idea how well he was covering.
He was in coverage on the TE on Hadens first INT.

You can cover well and still have no pass defenses.
As far as a rookie wall, I take his decrease in snaps as two/three fold.It was a homecoming for Barron, a coach would have to know motivation could factor in. besides the possible rookie wall theory which of course is possible too.
Also aren't the rams known for a fast paced up tempo offense? If I am thinking correctly that could limit your substitutions at times, orrrrrrrr schematically they could have been in an alignment they felt Barron was the better option for, say like the dime D.
Just possibilities I am not shooting facts here.
