Caleb Williams wants Ownership stake

So I read something on this guy a couple weeks ago that he and his father don’t like the draft structure where the team with worst record gets the first pick. He’s getting advice from his father it appears.
Now it’s a stake in ownership which ain’t happening, trust me.
This kid and his father with their greed are seriously jeopardizing his chances of being drafted in the first round.
They are challenging 32 billionaire owners who ARE NOT accustomed to losing and they will not lose this time either.

Don't think the CBA will allow for this. Kid is way over his head.

Put in your time, earn your money and buy your own stake kid

The NFL owners will never add ownership stake to a rookie pay scale

Lmao, but you do miss all the shots you don’t take

So apparently he has been asking for this for a while… the story only broke when the NFL quietly banned it…
It only resurfaced because there was talk about a lawsuit… good luck challenging a league with an antitrust exemption and a union that likely won’t want this nonsense

So apparently the League already blocked this action earlier this year… an active player may not own a part of a team. Aaron Rodgers was pursuing it as well…

But perusing some other fansites, seems the guy has a lot of red flags on work ethic and egotistical tendencies… probably going to hurt him in the draft
He's going to drop all the way to first overall with these issues lol.

Maybe he would accept FULL ownership of just our coach, Tomlin that is…………. He can use him to coach his 3rd round @ss at some high school field, while preparing for his pro-day.

Meh guys do drop because of such things.. quite frequently, actually…

In fact, guys who are expected to go high and stay another year occasionally mess up their draft position really badly…

Caleb is well on his way of doing just that.

These kids make $$$ now. They can afford another year in school

Its being reported that he is demanding an ownership stake in whatever team drafts him.

This is directly because thanks to NIL, he doesn’t need to jump early to the NFL and get paid.. so he is threatening to just stay in college..

The NFL needs a bylaw right now preventing ownership to be included in any contracts…

What an absurd, egotistical, entitled ask…

I hope he stays in college and ends up a second round pick in 2025…

There is an easy fix that can give him what he wants and will result in him actually not wanting it. The value of the interest needs to be applied to the team's salary cap, adjusted each year as the value changes. It must also be for a contractual term. So, for a rookie, it would be where they are slotted and beyond that not longer than 7 years.

Unfortunately, this will lead to little to no ownership interest, it ultimately terminates with no further value and likely results in them getting no paycheck. Now, everyone get in line for some ownership interest.

***Also, go ahead and stay in college, get injured and lose your entire payday. Very nice.

Also, isn't this the guy the great media prognosticators said we should lose out for or trade Watt and etc to try to get? LOL

Yup. I believe they said he makes more in college than he will on the first year of a rookie contract.
Yeah. The NIL has changed the landscape of college athletics. I say good for them. They’re getting their due in a collision sport

Yeah Cowherd said that nonsense. Which would be as dumb as when Ditka traded the entire draft for Ricky Williams.
He already sounds like an entitled pain in the ***. A hard pass on that guy. Not that it matters. He's already listed the teams he would be willing to play for.

he’s not gonna be good in the NFL. He’s average at best. I’m not sure who would even draft him
