Cam Heyward wants a new deal

A lot of negative PR for Cam to get a minimal potential raise and it's not even tied to his own performance...which happened to be his issue with his contract in the first place.

Makes me wonder if this is a ‘Brady’ type deal. 3 mill tied to Heyward and magic money that’s not being told about to his ‘foundation’?
 
Cam is starting to sound like Latree Sprewell

Sprewell said he couldn’t feed his family on 7 million and Cam is saying he can’t feed his family on 14 million

They should have put those playoff incentives in those years he didn't crack the stat sheet in playoff losses to the Jags and Baker Mayfields.
 
So in other words he’s playing for the exact same
Money this year with a publicity “face save” like he actually got a raise. Well, he may get that 500k bump…a very Tomlinized incentive there just for making the playoffs.

I’ll be happily shocked if he actually earns the other incentives…would be about damn time he contributed to a meaningful win and well worth adding the icing on the cake for him.

Good play by Omar and Co.

If he is successful in any of the insentives, I’m all for paying him.

Some times you just have to offer a face save when someone has backed himself into a corner. He's a Walter Payton Man of the Year. He's going to the Hall of Fame. But yeah this isn't his first dumb **** either. It's a business is fine when you have leverage. He simply did not. In the end he knew it. To some extent it will be damage control.

Seriously.....you believe Cam is HOF material? Hines Ward is 10x HOF material over Cam. And he isn't there.

I really hate this ****, especially when you got Boswell who is arguably the best kicker in the league not even breaking the top ten for salary and the steelers basically tell him tough ****.

Two years left on a three year contract and your bitching. him complaining about not making enough to take care of his family pisses me right off. you have made a hundred and thirty six million so far, if your grandkids are not set for life you're a ******* idiot. The average person in America would have to work over sixty years just to make three million.

How about everyone of the ******* from the commissioner to the owners down to the players take a huge ******* pay cut drop ticket prices and concession prices along with free Sunday ticket.

Anyone here beside me remember when Webster went and worked at the steel mill in the offseason
