I have to say no proposal makes me more furious than this one.

The parents who sacrificed and saved so they could actually pay for their kids' college.
The kids who chose state schools or lesser schools where they had scholarships over expensive privates so they wouldn't have to take out a bunch of debt.
The colleges who jacked up their prices to atmospheric levels because of the easy money flowing over all over the place and this will just make that worse.
The adults who paid their college debt over many years who are now in the form of taxes going to have pay college kids' debts instead of contributing to their own retirements.

The whole thing ******* stinks to high heaven like most Dem proposals designed to "help" people.

And in an op-ed in The Washington Post last week, Warren called the cancellation of billions of dollars in student debt “the single most effective executive action available to provide massive consumer-driver stimulus.”

Payed over time these last 8 years.
Owed something like under just $900 left.

I left my Director level job, 6 weeks of vacation, and clear career path to a VP office to become a contractor, no vacation, because I needed the money to pay for two kids going to college. I have long lobbied for money to be made available to people who paid off their student loans. Repay US. We'll take that money and stimulate the economy. We'll invest, buy property, buy high cost items. If you simply give money to lending institutions to "repay student debt" the students don't get a ******* dime of it and they still can't get a job in "gender studies".

All you are doing is using a ****-ton of taxpayer money to gift to the lending institutions with virtually no upside to the economy. It's a full on ******* ponzi scheme to give money to big banking. Something the democrats "say" they're against.

Betcha they shut down their moronic, worthless departments (Gender Equity in Vagina Art Studies, Capitalism as a Tool of Oppressing People of Color but Not the Color White Since Whites Are Evil) and tell students to study something that will prepare them to participate in the workforce.

Also, betcha a lot more funds go to schools that actually prepare you to make a living.
