I voted for Haley to go. There is ZERO chance they will clean house DURING the season.

With a new OC, MT can say he tried to right the ship.

This is a new OC, his idea of righting the ship is to drill more holes in the bottom to let the water out!

Nothing says to everyone "Get yer **** together pronto" than a full scale, whole sale dumping of the trash. Therefore the Steelers will stand pat.

A poor showing offensively against the Texans and I could easily see Haley getting pink-slipped.

That's the start of three consecutive home games. Perfect time to generate some excitement among the faithful, not to mention the team.

God knows whoever would replace Haley couldn't be any worse.

Colbert should be the first to go.

If Colbert goes any good gm will be allowed to pick his own coach. So it's all bullshit if Colbert goes and the new gm is forced to stick with calf cool shades

Rooney needs to start lining up a strategy of interviews and/or appointments. Now is a good time to plan it. Late in the season, say mid December would be a good time to terminate ties. Then Right after Christmas announce new coach(s).

Our problems are bigger than just Haley. Replace Colbert, Tomlin, Haley, LEBeau.

Perhaps Munchack could be interim HC?

Why? Please name one thing he does well. HE is the head coach. 2 more seasons? Are you kidding me?

Name one thing Schotty did well............ Name one thing Coughlin does well....Name one thing Gruden did well ? Name one thing Whisenhunt did well.......

When you fire a coach that has two super bowl appearances and one those a win (i dont wanna hear this bullshit about Cowhers players cuz we have to be the only goddamn forum fanbase that sucks that **** like ticks on dogs *****) you had better have a sure hit on the next hire that can turn it around else we start that vicious ****** up cycle of searchin and testing, searching and testing...........I dont know WHO out there is available that CAN. You dont either but you want change because youre tired of the same ****. Im tired of the same **** myself but Cowher aint comin back, Parcells, aint comin out of retirement, Gruden aint leavin the booth and Schottenheimer (hes done). Im not ready to **** with anyone from college (especially Stoops or Briles) either.

But let me ask you for 5 candidates (realistically) that youd bring in for interviews --- 3 yrs afterwards if theres no improvement, the staff gets canned and YOU step down with em.....youre on deck now....SHOOT YOUR BEST SHOT SN PREMIUM GM.

Munchak lost twice as much as he won in Tennessee..........

Im just curious why you think theyd fire Haley guiding an offense thats 2nd in the league in rushing offense and 4th in total offense ? An offense thats outproducing New Orleans, Philly and Denver (we arent cashing in points)

Do you feel our offense is better than any of theirs? Or even on the same level?

I feel this offense is equipped to compete with anyone. Save our redzone inefficiency.

Our QB has limitations in the redzone (its mental).....when the field area shrinks, so does our ability score (passing). It takes him 4+ seconds to read and react. The QBs of those other teams can do it in 2.75 to 3. That extra 1-1.5 seconds is the reason he will take a sack in the redzone.

We rank top 4 in total offense and rank in the bottom half in offensive SCORING....20.3 per game...right around Ben-lead offensive scoring output since hes been the starting QB. Will a new OC change that ? History says it wont based on the output under Whisenhunt and Bruce.

No such thing as a sure hit in coaching. So according to your logic Tomlin should never be fired. Which is exactly what you want.

It's just a hunch. The team needs waking up. If the coaching staff can't do it, then maybe the FO can.

(And a lot of their yards have come in garbage time. Going six quarters without a TD early in the season, and bumblin' and stumblin' in the past three games, are not the work of a productive offense.)
