Changes for the Falcons game

Agreed, even Foster has played better and I have ranted about Adams enough, y'all go back and watch for yourselves..you'll see.

You've raved about him but applied no facts. The FACTS say that he was covered most of the game, they ran AWAY from him for all but 10 yards, and he sucked against the Saints so bad that they decided to help him a ton against the bungles.

OK, I got some back-up for my FACTS column...

PFF called him the worst player on offense and he graded out worse than Taylor, if that's even possible.

Man have some respect. Calling Ike a jackass is wrong. Dude might be nearing the end of his career but him, Troy and Clark was a staple for almost a decade back there.

These guys helped bring multiple championships to Pittsburgh.

Time is a ***** and will catch up with you eventually. Ike was a great Steeler and will be remembered for his dedication to the team.

I still remember his 1st start against Chad Johnson and Ike shut em down...it wasn't a fluke as he drew the opponents best wr for the next decade.

Dead on. People forget fast. The same type folks cheered Terry Bradshaw got injured on the field after the man had won 4 super bowls. They'll minimize achievements in the blink of an eye. Ike was a great corner for the Steelers for many years. Anyone really watching saw that. He's a champion just like Harrison,Troy and Ben.

Last night on the Falcons radio post game it was reported by someone that Julio Jones hip wasn't feeling too good and when he was asked by reporters how he felt he said his hip feels the same way his foot did last season. He's going to be evaluated today but that injury could keep him out vs the Steelers this coming Sunday especially on a short week.

I hope that does not mean some unknown we have never seen shows up and plays like a reincarnation of a youthful Jerry Rice.

Sorry, I got you and another poster mixed up. I also thought you said "raved" not "ranted". My mistake. Another poster was saying how well Adams had played and that he had solidified the OL. I was pointing out how that was far from the truth. Thanks for the article.

now a question: if you have a below average RT like Adams with a rookie contract and an average RT on Gilbert with an expensive contract, what do you do?
- Cut Adams, keep going with Gilbert? trying to draft a late rounder to backup
- Cut Gilbert, take the cap hit and give Addams a cheap contract based on his below average play. This would mean to probably look for a cheap vet to compete
- Keep them both offering Adams a cheap contract.
