Just heard Claypool make some revealing comments on 93.7 The Fan.

“Wish we could throw more go routes, more deep balls. We have the skill players in me,George and DJ so don’t know why we don’t do more”
“I’m not saying it’s the playcalling but wish we would call more deep plays”.
Interesting comments which leads me to think there’s dissatisfaction in that locker room among the receivers.
On another note Claypuff gets a deep throw in the first half and trips over his own feet and the ball gets intercepted.

He was tripped by a defender. Which should have been pass interference.

I watched that again and it was hard to tell if he tripped over his own feet or the defender tripped him Slash.

I thought he tripped him, I could be wrong.

2-5 team now more rumbling. Last week all about trade rumors locker room fights. A new era for steeler fans

Idk Slash! It’s always hard to tell with Claypuff since he’s always falling.
I think he has started to come on though. Two straight 4th quarters I thought he did well. Like the rest of the WRs I think they are held back by scheme. Or lack of an NFL one...

They lose a couple more and j bet we hear A LOT more players speak out…

I would be happy if it weren't obvious we were trying for 2 to 3 yards damn near every 1st and 2nd down, right up till the game starts to get so out of hand they NEED to open it up. It's ******* maddening.

Even if they did something exotic, like some FRIGGIN' PLAY ACTION?????

THIS

Our players are being held back by this **** hole dream scheme. Kenny could be going backwards with this OC, I hope not to ruin.

I hear yaz Djfan but how about this concept................. a mixture designed to keep the opponent off guard and not to know what to expect. A combination of various depth passes along with a mixture of runs to either side with and without a FB of shotgun snap.

He is right you know? Too ******* late to still be in Canada's ****-up lab trying to make it work when everyone knows it sucks

I agree Litos, it is late to just be finding yourself. A 10 point game doesn't seem to be finding yourself.

I'd take it way more serious if it wasn't a soft WR telling us something we already know.

My advice to Chase is "go out there and prove us something" Chase isn't a lost cause, far from it, he just needs coached and schemed up.

He is right but lets be a part of righting the ship instead of talking about it.

its kinda ****** up to see Juju having gone from a "Who?" to being a damn good WR.
absolutely can't be the scheme
nor the coaching
must be something else
maybe its the BBQ in KC that got Juju to be who we thought he was
absolutely can't be the coaching or scheme here. no way.

Eh, can't blame Chase for saying what he did there. He's toeing the company line about the offense "finding itself".
Also can't blame him for his play the last 2 games. It's been above average.
Besides, he let his true feelings be known with his comments about "Go Balls" and "Scheming up"
