First off, as a Canadian I'm pretty dissapointed in aspects of Claypool's attitude. The article based on the interview with Marshall, Pacman Jones etc. Basically said he felt he was a top 3-5 receiver. Now to be fair every receiver thinks he us better than he is and if he doesn't he probably is on sp. Teams only. But still it always seems useless to put unnecessary pressure and expectations on yourself by making statements. As it pertains to Ben. Most of it was positive, but again any sound bite is unnecessary. To me the fact that those guys wanted Claypool on their shows me they thought he would run his mouth. Which he did. At least a bit.

What did he say? Tweet? Link?

how damn hard is it to provide a ******* link?

No need to. We have you, Herr Moderator.

I don't link because my understanding is that some sources were copyright issues. Besides if you type Pittsburgh Steelers in a Google search six articles are coming up. How ******* hard is that.

Ban him.

There is usually a reason why people are drafted where they are. Claypool's senior production and combine numbers should not have had him fall to the Steelers......but

I don't mind his mental aspect at all. If he thinks that, then he needs to prove that. I don't see Justin Jefferson leaping to make catches that would normally be in his bread basket. I don't see Cooper Kupp trying to high point a ball that is numbers high. I don't see any other WR in the entire ******* league jumping to make a spectacular catch on a normal, every-day pass.

Dude has talent - that's not deniable. He's not soft, but he is more prima donna than his play affords him.

With Pickens and Austin coming onboard, our WRs are going to be very talented. Next year's offense, with Pickens and Austin having a year under their belt, should be very, very good.

I’d love it if he had first said “I think I can become…” Antonio Brown was/is crazy, but he was also a damn hard worker. Claypool sounds like he doesn’t think he has anything to work on or prove.

English please!
Lol that's funny...
"Attitude is fine" (self explanatory)
"Just prove it" (self explanatory)
"for God sake stay in your feet making a catch rather than stumbling all over. Sorry I can see where the word "in" as apposed to on could have caused you a major issue there.
TikTok has nothing to do with W & L...(self explanatory again) W&L is for wins and losses...

I have no problem with his interview. He is right about Tiktok not being a distraction. They all f'ing do it. Now, I don't think he's a top 3 or 5 WR but if he has the confidence like that and like most great WR's do, then so be it. Go out and prove it. Prove you are our WR1 so we can let DJ walk. I would have no problem if he can do that this year.

Claypool has stepped up his offseason training as well. He finally did get his own jugs machine and he trains at a facility with a different type of jugs machine as well. Hopefully, it translates to the field. The dude is a physical freak and has all the potential in the world. Hopefully, he just had a sophomore slump.

The attitude is fine, just prove it and for God sake stay in your feet making a catch rather than stumbling all over. And no TikTok has nothing to do with W & L...
I agree, an athlete needs that "I'm the ******* best" attitude, but he better work for it in training and prove it on game day

Guy is just dumb as a box of rocks , AB 2.0 without the production.

I like it. Let him succeed or fail according to his own words. Maybe...just maybe he's ready to turn-the-corner and step up, not only his play, but as a leader ...the optimist in me would say.

The realist in my says, "Start talking AFTER you've accomplished something kid."

His video after Haskins was enough, now this garbage.
Yes. I thought I was the only one. Why someone has to show the world their grief is just beyond me. I don’t mind so much his cockiness as it seems all the young WR’s have it.
Oh for the days of the humble Heath Miller. I’ll take that type of attitude any day. Season 3 will be the big make or break for Chase.

trade one of them per sure
