Clinton, Rubio Close In Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania - Quinnipiac University poll

Bernie has a problem
Bernie is simply a summer distraction, akin to the chick in a mini-skirt across the fence hanging laundry. Loads of fun until her husband gets home and you pull down the blinds and turn away. He's good for ***** & giggles while the country sits on the porch swatting flies. I doubt he maintains any traction heading into the fall. I think Hillary is sitting back, taking notes, and will roll out the machine when the time is right.

I feel the same way about the Donald, though it's not clear which nominee will step out from the pack if he starts fading...maybe he is all the GOP has who stands a fighting chance.

Hillary Clinton is going to be the next POTUS. Mark it down. She is not honest, not trustworthy, completely unlikable. However, I think many have themselves convinced that this will be "Bill Clinton Part 2." Add that she is a woman and presents another opportunity to make history, and it is a no brainer.

I don't know, there's a lot of us who hate that commie bulldyke.

Maybe but the reaction of MSNBC is comedy gold.

She said yesterday that one of her merits to be the President is that she is a woman. I say she needs to show us her lady parts to prove it. Oh wait....nevermind.

She did say that though...I'm sorry, but being a woman is NOT an automatic qualifier.

I heard that. I am paraphrasing here, but she something to the effect of, "Do not elect me simply because I am a woman. Elect me on my merits. One of my merits is that I am a woman." Something to that effect. Ridiculous. But she will win.

Here is the actual quote.............

"Clearly, I'm not asking people to vote for me simply because I'm a woman," Clinton responded. "I'm asking people to vote for me on the merits."

Then she added: "I think one of the merits is I am a woman. And I can bring those views and perspectives to the White House."

How about a tour of Trump's apartment?

(from 4 years ago)

His apartment is over the top gaudy. Melania though, wow, smokin hot.

Yeah that's it. She talks out of both sides of her mouth and doesn't even realize it.

That's First Lady Melania to you

Report: Officials seek criminal probe of Hillary Clinton e-mail account

WASHINGTON — Two inspectors general have asked the Justice Department to open a criminal investigation into whether sensitive government information was mishandled in connection with the personal email account Hillary Rodham Clinton used as secretary of state, senior government officials said Thursday.

The request follows an assessment in a June 29 memo by the inspectors general for the State Department and the intelligence agencies that Mrs. Clinton's private account contained "hundreds of potentially classified emails." The memo was written to Patrick F. Kennedy, the under secretary of state for management.

It is not clear if any of the information in the emails was marked as classified by the State Department when Mrs. Clinton sent or received them.

Hillary Clinton Email Said to Contain Classified Information

WASHINGTON — Government investigators have discovered four emails containing what they say is classified information on the personal email account that Hillary Rodham Clinton used as secretary of state, the investigators said in a letter to Congress released on Friday.

Mrs. Clinton, meanwhile, said Friday that she would stay focused on the issues at the heart of her presidential campaign, and that she was concerned about “a lot of inaccuracies’’ in the reporting of her personal email account.

“Maybe the heat is getting to everybody,’’ she said at a campaign event at New York University. “We are all accountable to the American people to get the facts right, and I will do my part,” Mrs. Clinton added. “But I’m also going to stay focused on the issues, particularly the big issues, that really matter to American families.”

The government investigators discovered the four emails while reviewing a sampling of 40 emails from Ms. Clinton’s account.

She can lose all those states and as long as she gets Florida, she wins.

Again.... when you look at those pole numbers, the ticket Hillary would hate the most is Bush/Rubio. Because those two, together, have a very good shot of winning Florida. And if they win Florida and those poll numbers hold true in Iowa, Virginia and Colorado, the Republicans can win. It's just a matter or getting to 270.

I don't think you need Bush to win FL, he'd probably hurt as much as he'd help, but you do need Rubio. If Rubio isn't the nominee (too early to say) then whoever is the nominee stands a much better chance of winning FL if he is the VP.
And we shouldn't underestimate the potential for Hildebeast shooting herself in the foot. To this point she is running on two issues. Vote for me because I'm a Democrat. Vote for me because I'm a woman. Y'all thought Bomma was short on specifics.

Trump: Clinton email scandal is 'very serious' and 'very criminal'

“I don’t know how a person with that cloud over their head can actually be running for president,” Trump told a rally in Iowa.

“If the prosecutors are honorable, if they’re fair, they’re just, sadly, bad things have to happen because what she did is very serious and very criminal,” he said.

That's your opinion of Hillary as a strong, religious-right voter.

I think Hillary's strongest message is still "Eight more years of Bill Clinton in the White House" and there are a LOT of democratic and centralist republican voters that would love that. You can put that down all you want, but for much of American voters still think that was the last good president we had.

Clinton never won 50% of the vote.. never. He had to have Ross Perot to win both times. As a strong liberal voter that's your opinion of the Clinton years. Almost nobody wants to go back to the 90s. The more people see Hillary the less they like her.

Also almost every president has good poll numbers after they leave office. Bush has better numbers than Obama right now.

Problem is that Hildebeast is a lot farther Left than Bill. Bill was relatively pragmatic for a Democrat and would do what was popular to get elected (welfare reform, giving up on HillaryCare, lower capital gains taxes, balanced budget from the Republicans, not taxing the internet) and didn't care if you got yours as long as he got his. Hildebeast is much more of a doctrinaire Liberal/Socialist. There might be a part of her ego that will be damned if we had a better economy under Bill than her but I don't think she's capable of moving enough to the Right to fix the economy. It is much more likely we will have 8 more years of Bomma than 8 more years of Bill.

I think Hillary's strongest message is still ".

Yeh she's packin em in del.....

Emphasizing the importance of Millennial voters in upcoming elections, progressive activists spoke to a nearly empty auditorium at the College Democrats of America annual conference on Friday.

Despite offering a full day of activities, speakers like Julian Castro, and campaigning advice from top political operatives, the College Democrats of America were barely able to fill the first couple rows with young attendees.

Every party has a party pooper and judging by this flyer, it’s Hillary Clinton.

Here’s an untouched flyer advertising a “Young Americans for Hillary” event for students, indicating there isn’t much energy for Hillary Clinton’s campaign among the youth in New Hampshire.

A photo of a flyer was posted on Twitter Friday for the party in Manchester, New Hampshire today.

Super popular event. It's in 2 days and no one has torn off a reminder. #ReadyForHillary #OhHillNo pic.twitter.com/u7FXYSHyvX

Attendees are promised “young people, Hillary swag, Pizza, Political discussion, A good time.” And a photo of a young Hillary in garishly striped pants — what else could a college student possibly want?

Apparently a lot of things, as no one wants to be reminded about this “party.”

As Nancy points out:

.@EF517_V2 oh yeah, I'm going to the 3rd floor of some random building to have a "good time" getting some "Hillary swag" – lol! No.

I love it.....#ReadyForHillary.#OhHillNo

Trump elbows his way to the top

(CNN)In the first national telephone poll since Donald Trump earned rebukes from Republican leaders over his comments about Senator John McCain's military service, the real estate mogul has increased his support among GOP voters and now stands atop the race for the party's nomination.

The new CNN/ORC Poll finds Trump at 18% support among Republicans, with former Florida governor Jeb Bush just behind at 15%, within the poll's margin of error.

They are joined at the top of the pack by Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, with 10% support among Republicans and Republican-leaning independents who are registered to vote. Trump's backing has climbed 6 points since a late-June poll, while support for Bush and Walker has not changed significantly.

The Donald is scaring the **** out of the PC media - that's good enough for now

He serves a purpose in that regard. Go Trump! Go after Bush! Go after the rhinos! Go after all the pro-amnesty shills.

Disaffected GOP largely backs Trump

More than half of Republican voters don’t believe Washington politicians represent their views, and a plurality of those voters want Donald Trump to be the party’s presidential nominee.

Fifty-three percent of GOP voters feel that D.C. is unrepresentative of their views, compared to 27 percent of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents in a new CNN/ORC poll released Monday.

Trump holds a strong lead over that share of the Republican electorate — 24 percent of the disaffected back him. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is in second with 13 percent of that group, with the rest of the field far behind.

CNN/ORC polled 1,017, 898 of registered voters with margins of error between 3 and 3.5 percent depending on the sample. The poll spanned July 22-25, after Trump’s controversial comments on Sen. John McCain’s (R-Ariz.) war record.
