Colin Cowherd is insane...

Colin has been around for ages and his schtick is well-known at this point, he likes to draw parallels between the sports world and other aspects of every day life. Sometimes he's pretty accurate, sometimes he's off his rocker, but he DOES admit when he's wrong, and his show is engaging and easy to listen to (at least to me). He has interesting guests, and the format keeps everything fresh
So he's not Cooch. Sign me up as a new viewer!!!

Not.

Tua's was on pace to be MVP until the concussions last year. Go back and check...
Except last year was his third year this is his 4th. No need to check I already studied both comparisons. 😉

I just looked up Caleb's height. The kid is the same height as me - 6' 1". Not a midget but not the average NFL size either...

Tua did put up 70 points on an nfl defense though
Yep which was my point he took time to develop. That 70 points was insane!

My problem isn't trading for Caleb, my problem is the compensation. TJ is a top 3 pick in a redraft, and Pickens is top 10, then add 3 Firsts? That's 5 first rounders with one as an AP and the other a potential Pro Bowler. Way too much capital.

Hell if TJ wins another DPOY, he'd be tradable alone for 3 firsts. With a productive year out of Pickens, I think we could net a 1st for him and a 2nd lower round pick, probably a 3rd.

So to me the trade would be for Caleb:

3 Firsts

or

TJ Watt

or

Pickett and Pickens and maybe a 1st - because we can't keep Kenny 2 gloves after this move.

Sound logic. I like it!!!

We see the Steelers with and without Watt in the lineup. A rare non-QB who can win games for his team and a legit MVP contender every year.

I think it would take Pickett, Pickens, a first, and at least two seconds. That still may not be enough because Williams should be a stud. Best QB prospect in awhile.

...they flat out quit, tapped out. Half of those yards came from rushing 350 yards. That's mailing it in.

I used to be on board with the idea that a franchise qb was worth anything you paid,
But recently I’ve been wavering on that…

Qbs really need a good coach to develop them and many really need the right system…

The risk is far greater than the cost even for established qbs We’e seen this with teams going out to get guys like Rodgers, who was immediately injured, Wilson, who didn’t fit the system, and Watson, whose cost was astronomical and might be damaged goods..

Yeah its worked out trading for Manning and Stafford onto stacked teams, but that isn’t what typically happens… but for a straight draft pick? Thats far riskier….

The thing is over the past 25 years, the only QBs drafted 1 overall that even remotely lived up to the hype were the Mannings, and maybe Burrow, but the jury is still out on him. ( Lawrence and Young are still too new too).

Kyler Murray might be something, but I wouldn’t really say he is established as an elite qb yet and he is coming back from a hude injury… he gets an incomplete too..

Stafford was good, but not like HOF good and has an overall losing record and his Super Bowl win didn’t come with the team that draft him.

Vick and Newton were terrible passers and each barely over .500 in wins… one had 10 more wins than losses, the other 7…

Goff and Palmer were probably better off as low first round guys.. definitely not worth 1 oa

Maysfield, Alex Smith, Bradford and Winston should have all been like 2nd or 3rd rounders …

David Carr and Tim Couch like fourth rounders…

Russell was a complete waste of time…

Many, if not all of these guys, were hyped as franchise QBs that would be Hall of Fame caliber…

I mf we were a qb away, Id move TJ straight up for what? Maybe 4 of them… drafting up to take a qb at #1 oa is a fools errand… peyton was probably tge only qb worth the haul being suggested here…

Meh his release and accuracy for me make that less of a concern. Same height as Tua. I think his floor is pretty high. I wouldn't give up Watt. But if you told me both coordinators were on the out. And it would cost Pickett, a 1 and 2. I would listen. But chances are the Steelers will finish above .500 and the purse to move up would be a lot more than what would interest me.

Very sound thinking. I was in those near same thoughts as TJ isn’t just a ho-hum player to trade. His value is equal to the value of said QB. Very very near.

Pickens could be that value also, should our OC pull his head out and actually utilize the talent we have.

NO TRADE for me, I’d stick with the players we have BUT………. MOVE on from the OC by railing him right out of town today.

Salute the nation

If you throw enough $hit against the wall some sticks

Okay? His show is interesting. How would you prefer he go about his craft?
Have cooch and Canada on in a roundtable talk. Throwing their crayonistic philosophies at one another.

The subject? How 40 yard dashes can highlight the jetweep promoting a sea of luxury. Followed by who they would trade for after the trade deadline and revisiting the draft on who they would have Pickett.

The audience afterwards gets a free coloring book and a 10 percent coupon to the jelly of the month club.

I can confirm, at least from a fantasy perspective, this is 100% correct. He was a sneaky good pick this year (at least so far). So many forgot how good he was to start last season.

Does he realize how far this would set the franchise back??? It will take 5 years get back on track at a minimum...

I will be honest, I was not a supporter of the Kenny Pickett choice for various reasons; but he's a Steeler now so I support him.

My new dream QB, if you will, is Shedur Sanders. Not gonna happen but I can dream...
He is an ***. More biased West Coast posturing. Such a big baby about the schools leaving the PAC12, which he just can’t get over. Let him stew more about “his” Seahawks losing in SB XL. He never has any verified sources, only unnamed ones. Which basically means no sources just reactionary programming. He’s on Skip Bayless level, but without journalism chops.

not throw out idiotic bullshit for attention
so you want some hum-drum boring-*** tv/radio show with no interesting commentary? not surprised

everybody in the business "throws out" whatever they have to, for attention, einstein.

it's fascinating to me how much cowherd mindfucks so many people, as if he cussed out their mothers or some ****.

He's lucky a couple Denver d linemen didn't hit him sideways in the knee for running up the score.
