Good to see Cowherd calling it as it is. Too many clueless, liberal publications painting Tomlin as something special, despite him coming off as a complete and total dipsh*t to the majority of us who have been subjected to the details of the last 15 years. Tomlin is the equivalent of a Marvin Lewis. The only difference being that Tomlin has has the luxury of riding the coattails of a HOB QB and a franchise that cares more about politics than Ws.

And 18.4m for Minkah? WTF! Absolutely FOOLISH. Not knocking his play, but we could have found a comparable replacement for him in the draft for a whole hell of a lot less.. Not surprising Omar and Tomlin's first big move together is an epic blunder. As fans, we should get ourselves accustomed to those because I forsee plenty a coming!

For this type of contract to be worth what we paid, Fitzpatrick needs 6 INT, and good coverage. He did neither last year. But he can. Can space is important he needs to produce. He's a very good player who needs to play like great impactful player to live up to the contract.

AKA Collin Cowherd, a respected sports personality, is a "clown" because he said true things that also happened to be unflattering about my team.

I guess everyone I know must be clowns because they think Tomlin sucks *** too.
cowherd is a freaking idiot and just throws random **** against the wall

Yeah. Suggesting that our team has declined under Tomlin's tenure and paying a ridiculous amount of money for a safety that didn't warrant it is "throwing random **** against the wall". Good call.
any intelligent poster would understand that my comment was about cowherd's comments in general not just this specific comment

troll

Right. And more accurately, any intelligent poster wouldn't write off something stated by a respected sports personality just because his little truth bomb paints our organization in a negative light. Tomlin's an idiot. No news flash there.

Troll.
I don't consider him a "respected" sports personality

he is a jackass, like most of them

his opinion is no more valid than the majority of the posters on this site

for the record, you are not a part of that group of posters - your opinion doesn't mean **** to anyone

Tell me you don't ever want to be taken seriously without telling me you don't ever want to be taken seriously! LOL

I see the trolls are back.

For **** sakesssssssssssssssssssssssssss, it was the BEST while it lasted. Short leash and FUs on the way out.

You lost him/her/non-gender specific right there.

Are we going to go through this bullshit again? I hope the board don't slip backwards with the IQ infusion.

Never a losing season. Greatest coach ever.

I kinda agree with Cowherd on the Tomlin deal. We used to be all bout Super Bowls not winning seasons.

But Mincah deserved to be paid. in 2 years that will be considered average

"I saw a story yesterday that celebrated Minkah Fitzpatrick being the highest-paid safety in the history of the NFL," Cowherd said Thursday on "The Herd."

"Everybody's like, ‘Yeah he got his money!’ And I thought, 'Pittsburgh's getting into an interesting place.' They have a great history, but almost none of it is in the last 12 years. Their biggest rivals in the AFC all have better quarterbacks than they do. They have a defensive coach in clearly an offensive league. And after the Fitzpatrick signing, the Steelers now have the most expensive defense in the NFL, and the least money invested in an offense.

"That ain't great in 2022."

"The standard in Pittsburgh used to be winning Super Bowls," Cowherd said. "You know what they brag about now? ‘Mike Tomlin’s never had a losing season.' That's not negative, but that's something the Browns would be happy with."
Ben just retiring might have something to do with the QB situation bobby. The rest is nothing new the board has been saying a lot of the same things for 5 plus years.

Even the contract isn't a new approach. Steelers take care of who they want to keep.

We got rid of our HOF QB and replaced him with a Bears reject, kept a HC that was never worthy of the position in the first place, continue our legacy of promoting incompetent coordinators, promoted a bean counter with no personnel experience to GM, took on a whiner that's suing the NFL because he thinks he "deserves" a HC position, and waaay overpaid for a Safety that we could have replaced through the draft without much consequence.

But yeah, go Steelers. Woo-hoo.
You can always go root for another team. I have a citation right here that doesn't even need your John Hancock. You just carry it over to a new teams message board and tell them hi your name is Bob and you are there to party like it's 1999.

this might be the record for most incorrect statements in one post
