Is he a good coach? He took a tournament team and had the fewest wins Pitt has had since 1999-2000, chased away virtually his entire roster, and has coached his group of young guys to a winless conference record so far.

It's highly debatable. His winning percentage was OK at his time with Vandy. Is that why they went after him? The only legit coach to coach there? He has made Pitt a **** show. It was a ho-hum hire the moment he was introduced. At least, with Narduzzi there is some potential and fire there.
 
Pitt just scored 7 points in the first half before losing 66-37. One loss away from going 0-for-the-ACC schedule.

Wow...

Duke is starting to look like a world beater. The bigs are back and healthy. They should make a good run in the ACC tourney.
 
The Duke UNC game was a fun matchup on Sat. Both would be the #2 seed if they won, If they lost, Duke would be #3 and UNC would drop to #6 in the ACC Tourney.

UNC got Duke into foul trouble early and were up by 10 at the half. Duke storms back to win by 10 behind Bagley Jr playing like an NBA Star. When he wants it, no one is stopping him.
 
That was a real fun game. Bagley was unreal in the second half.
 
Pitt fired their head BBall coach Kevin Stallings today. Going 0-19 in conference play will do that.
 
Good bye Coach Homer Simpson clone. I hope Pitt's upper Mgmt gives you that $10 Mil contract clause and everyone can start over fresh.
 
Jeff Capel to Pitt. Solid hire following the mess that Stallings left. He was very impressive in his press conference and I hope he's the guy that can bring Pitt basketball back.
 
I'm glad we have a Coach now. I hope Coach Capel can rebuild the Program and bring in some recruits that can help the Team. Small steps for now. This has been an interesting few years for the Pitt BBall Program since they arrived in the ACC, Coach Dixon getting let go, Coach Homer Simpson being hired & fired, the payout clause, the new Coach search, and today's hiring of Coach Chapel.
