College Bowl Thread

Congrats to the Bulldogs. Oklahoma turtles in their second to last offensive series of the game and then didn't nut up to go for it in OT with less than a yard for the first.
They deserved to lose.

Damn Dawgs! What a game. My wife is jumping around the house....haha. Live to fight another day...can't give up points like that next game.

I'm a little worried about the winner of Clemson/Bama.

Bama is big in the trenches.
A Smart vs Saban match up would be interesting

Go Clemson. Bama shouldn't be there IMO.

Wow, epic choke by Oklahoma. They deserved to lose for going so conservative. Heisman winning QB, throwing all over their defense and with the game on the line they go with run plays and safe underneath throws.

On the blocked kick, isn't it a penalty in college to jump over the OL? I know in the NFL, you can only leap straight up to block a kick and can't jump over the OL. I thought college had the same rule.

My gut get to bed at a reasonable hour tonight, doesn’t look like Clemson showed up.

The OL left a gap and he jumped in it,not over him. It was clean.

My question is with Mayfield being the Heismann trophy winning and possibly some nfl teams franchise hopeful how do you not put the ball in his hands to finish/ win it. They barely passed the football. Im a little concerned drafting him. 6'1 isnt exactly ideal NFL height either.

Small by NFL standards. But it hasn't hurt Brees, or now Keenum.

BTW: Is college football ever going to get rid of the ridiculous, super-hokey overtime format? These guys are in the early 20's or younger, It won't kill them to play a regular quarter, under normal rules. If they're still tied, then MAYBE do something different.

Agree on college OT, I hate it. It isn't "football", it's hockey penalty shots masquerading as football
