College Football Bowls and Playoffs

Yea I saw that, is it a ruh-roh?
At his best this season, Ty Simpson made the most NFL-type throws from this year's class. I think he has a pretty good football IQ as he did a good job identifying the defense and reading the field. He does a solid job of navigating the pocket for the most part, but when he gets rattled, yikes! He doesn't have elite arm talent and looks to have that similar thin build that had Kenny Pickett hurt all the time. A noticeable lack of starting experience as well.

I'm not saying Simpson won't be a good QB, he could be very good. I just don't see him as an AFC North QB.

Thank you.

Disagree - Mendoza, Moore, Sayin would come ahead of him in that regard
I don't know, Simpson wasn't on anyone's radar--mine included. I watched Bama one week and he immediately caught my attention with some jaw-dropping throws. It's also what the draft analysts saw that started the talk of Simpson being a first-round prospect.

Also, Sayin isn't in this year's draft class.

Penn State adding beef on the DL. No more getting pushed around up front. Long overdue.

That is definitely some big boys.
Be interesting to see where these young
men are from.
I believe the hiring of the gentleman from Iowa State is gonna be favorable for Penn State as far as recruiting more kids from the Midwest area of the country.
Penn State historically does very well in the mid-Atlantic in Northeast portion of the country. I don’t believe they’ve done as well going further west into the midwest area.
If they could pull some kids away from the big Ten Midwestern programs and Notre Dames program, that would be a significant game changer for Penn State.
