College Football Week 3

Was that Florida TD that was called back a good call? I saw the TD then went to take a leak and came back to no TD.
 
I think Penn State is good enough to win it all. I don’t think Drew Allar is good enough to win it all. At this point, he is the limiting factor.
 
We won't know what Penn State's offense really is until Oregon in 2 weeks. That's the bottom line. It didn't look like they specifically gameplanned for any of these 3 games. Instead they were working on various concepts.

Singleton has not looked good at all. But they are giving him lots of zone runs and he's not great at those.

I heard from a beat writer that when Jim Knowles came over from Ohio State, he told Penn State's OC and Allar all the things they did to stop the offense. He told Allar that he told the OSU DBs not to worry if a PSU WR beats your deep, because Allar puts too much air on his deep ball so you have time to catch up and make a play.

Let's hope they are holding a lot back and will look sharp when they have a real gameplan vs Oregon.
 
I only watched the Georgia vs Tennessee game today. Georgia isn't going to go far if they can't play better defense than that.

Tennessee deserved to win that game. I guess they didn't want to take another chance at a penalty or some mess up before the kick . That sucks for the kicker he looks like he's maybe 18.


Still had a chance to win it in OT.
 
Horrible replay by NBC on the holding penalty on the kick return TD. From what they showed it looked the the A&M guy just got run over and the ND guy tripped over him.
 
awful series of playcalling. Why are they keeping their mobile QB in the pocket and throwing for the EZ each play?
 
So, where do the Irish land in rankings next week?
 
ND has no currently ranked teams left on the schedule. They need to become fans of Miami and Tex A&M to stay high in the rankings and for USC to keep winning and be ranked somewhat high when they play.

Manning is looking rough. It would be impossible for him to live up to the hype, but I did not expect him to look this bad. 11/25 114 yrds 1 TD 1 Int against UTEP is not going to cut it. Regardless of what happens the rest of the year, he needs to stay in school and get another year under his belt. Hopefully he can get things going
