College Football Week 3
Got this up early for the Pitt game.
Saturday
Buffalo at 14 Penn State 12:00 BTN PSU -40.5
Buffalo has been picked clean by other teams NIL deals. They're not very good so this should be a beatdown. Rocco Becht has been outstanding, completing over 70% both games. He may be out before halftime. The run game needs to get better in the last non conference game.
Thursday
Syracuse at Pitt 7:30 ESPN Pitt -10.5
both teams played a tight game last week. Syracuse lost and Pitt won in the rain. Syracuse starting former Notre Dame QB Steve Angeli. Could be a good Thursday night game if you don't have Amazon Prime to watch Bills vs Lions
Friday
22 Houston at 13 Texas Tech 8:00 FOX TTU -7.5
Oregon State gave each of them a scare this year. Maybe OSU is pretty good this year or maybe Houston and Tech are overrated. This could be an important game for the Big 12 down the line.
Saturday
North Carolina at Clemson 12:00 ESPN Clem -3
Tons of distractions in this one. Belicheck's son just resigned as DC due to controversy. Clemson is still reeling from their beatdown by LSU and they didn't exactly blow the doors off Georgia Southern last week.
2 Georgia at Arkansas 12:00 ABC UGA -24.5
surprised the line is only 24.5 with Arkansas getting blown out by Utah last week. I guess enough people think Arkansas is a homefield advantage.
Florida State at 10 Alabama 3:30 ABC ALA -19.5
Florida State had a close loss to SMU last week. They look better than last year but still not strong. Bama struggled early vs Kentucky but pulled away. It seemed like Bama got some things figured out.
16 SMU at 23 Louisville 3:30 ESPN2 Lou -1.5
SMU has underperformed so far. Louisville nearly knocked off Ole Miss. We'll know a lot more about each team
Mississippi State at South Carolina 4:15 SEC Network SC -4
This is a huge QB game. SC QB Lanorris Sellers is the know name but MSU QB Kamario Taylor has been electric so far, with mobility and a cannon arm. Taylor is only a sophomore so I don't believe he's draft eligible for 27 but who knows what rules even apply these days?
Florida at Auburn 7:00 ESPN Fla -2.5
Two teams looking to get back on the national stage after down years. Florida has only played FAU and the Campbell Fighting Camels, so they haven't been tested yet.
Michigan State at 3 Notre Dame 7:30 NBC ND -29.5
some great games in history between these 2 but likely a beatdown this year.
7 LSU at 8 Ole Miss 7:30 ABC LSU -3
LSU has listed QB Sam Leavitt as questionable. Is he really hurt or just a ploy? LSU beat up on what may be a bad Clemson team. Ole Miss struggled vs Louisville. I'm not sure how good they are. If LSU does get up, will Kiffin try to run up the score? Magic 8 ball says Yes on that one.
West Virginia at 25 Virginia 7:30 ACC Network UVA -10.5
Virginia is led by former PSU QB Beau Pribula who has been great so far.
