College Football Week 7

It's embarrassing that Penn State lost to a team that just got *** raped AT HOME by Purdue. With a competent QB PSU wins going away. Pisses me off a little bit.

I don’t have a bias towards my conference. I root for UGA cause that’s my alma mater and I root for the SEC cause it’s good for the conference. But I also root for New Mexico cause they are my parents school and local. UNM doesn’t have a strong gameday tradition but school wise they are a great school.

Since you've indicated here about your Bulldogs I've been a little watchful of them. I'll try to catch one of their games next time they are on TV. I'll also youtube and catch possible replay(s)

Next week UGA is on a bye. But the week after if you tune in will be the world’s largest cocktail party. Dawgs vs gaytors in Jacksonville.

Of course I’m a Dawg fan. Will root for UNM but they are horrible at football. Will root for the SEC except for auburn and florida.

Let’s plan. I was there in 2013. Just a warning my max is 5 beers now lol.

The atmosphere is fun in person. I still prefer sanford stadium though. Athens was amazing and my oldest son was born there. So I am fond of the state of GA since we moved back to NM

The SEC has some tough teams. Kentucky, Ole Miss and Arkansas I feel would be top tier in the other conferences. Auburn is hard to gauge this season. Bo Nix is either really good or really bad.


Kirby Smart has transformed UGA into a respected program. Georgia has always had good success in football, but Richt lacked what Kirby is bringing. I used to dread when we’d play ranked teams in the Richt days. The mrs and I were attending UGA in the Aaron Murray, Jarvis Jones days

GA is a long way from NM. Totally different from just about every angle too. How did you wind up that far from home? You ever think of going back?

So, my wife’s family is originally from Downey, CA. Her dad moved to Albuquerque in 2004 when intel was hiring like crazy. So I met my wife girl next door type of deal.

My wife’s uncle(her dad’s brother) is a trucker, settled with a southern lady from Georgia. So we ended up applying to UGA because of her uncle. We lived on campus then wound up staying with them after having our son.

Yes I would consider going back. Woodstock, GA would be a good place imo

And her uncle’s wife. Blonde southern lady. Really took care of us. Southern hospitality is a real thing. I feel the south gets a bad rap

One thing I noticed in Georgia is how family oriented people are. People will look out and step up in provide.

NM has it’s share of hard workers and family oriented people. But overall it’s like they just accept the bad stuff and use the excuse like “oh it happens everywhere”.

Well my wife’s aunt does consider me family.
I also have friends in Woodstock and one friend up in Rome, GA. I qualify as a southerner somewhat lol

Vols have been getting ****** by the refs all game. I don't normally place blame on the refs, but ... QB stripped of the ball and then its returned for a TD is a TD 99% of the time. Tonite? 1st down.
