College Football Week 8

On to a better game and hopefully a better result…but I doubt it as I may have to bet against both my teams this week. Have never done that before.

Betting against my employees (the Steelers) was as easy play this week.

How can I not take the 7 with Ole Miss today?
As a huge GA fan I’m even considering taking money line too.

GA has been smoke and mirrors (much like our Steelers) and could easily have lost a couple more games than they have (much like our Steelers). I realize they are between the Hedges but how the hell are they laying 7???

What am I missing?

The D doesn’t look like a GA defense and they don’t do anything special on offense.

So how do the Dawgs actually win this matchup?

Beck's interception on the last drive was terrible.

There aren't really any teams that feel dominant this year in college and as we get into the heart of conference play, there should be more upsets.

I really hope Penn State isn’t seriously considering Matt Ruhle as their next head coach. It’s a lateral move at best.
Matt Ruhle is 2-23 against top 25 teams. That's somehow even horrendously worse than JF's 4-21 record against the top 10.

But Ruhle vacations with Penn State's AD Pat Kraft. He's from State College. He played for Paterno. They'll posture and claim to go after outstanding coaches like Marcus Freeman, but I'd be very surprised if this race truly has more than one horse.

Give me a guy like Jeff Brohm, who is now 4-2 against the top 5 after Louisville beat #2 Miami on the road last night.

Iowa by only 3.5??? Has PSU covered the spread in ANY game this season?
No. They are 0-6 against the spread, and have yet to win a game against a Power 4 opponent.

Well I just looked in the mirror
And things aren't looking so good
I'm looking California
And feeling Minnesota
Oh yeah
The grass is always greener
Where the dogs are shltting

The James Franklin interview is basically "I have no idea why I'm fired" and is using this as a job interview for another big-time school.

I can't see Brohm leaving Louisville, unless he aspires to coach in the NFL, but I said the same thing about that ba$tard when he was at Western Kentucky. There seems to be a pretty solid body of evidence that he knows what he’s doing. Maybe the Steelers will make a run for him.
