Most here unfortunately don't really know a lot about football. Lot of fan boys though
I can't talk football with an irrational poster with the maturity of an 8 year old. I'll save my debating for guys like tape and Sarge and Vader. You know, real men who don't feel the need to thump their chest and start name calling.
From what I've seen these two weeks (and the last several years, too)....being a fan of a Big Ten team is equivalent to being a Browns fan. Nothing but bleakness anywhere on the horizon. No chance of ever winning a truly big game. Even struggling to win mediocre games at this point.
Having said that, I thought Michigan St. had Oregon figured out at one point. Alas...
There are no Big Ten fans. That's an SEC thing to root for a conference and take some sort of pride in seeing your rivals win. Penn State won so that was a good day for me.
Mich State looked good.
Ohio State would have been a very string team with Braxton Miller.
****! Texas lost at home to BYU 41-7?!
You never answer for it, but you know that's untrue. You also know it's not a "pride" issue as to why SEC fans pull for other SEC teams. It's because SEC rivals succeeding improves every team's SOS and perception for ranking/selection purposes. I know that's Greek to fans of Big Ten teams, who don't typically see multiple nationally-relevant teams while they're awake.
?? They scored 3 points outside of the second quarter and Langford had 3.6 per carry.. Oregon won by 19 and won every single team stat.. I take that back; that IS pretty strong for Michigan State.
As strong as they usually are? There's being conference-strong and being nationally strong, two different things.
Michigan State looked like a good team.
How many teams in the country can beat this Oregon team at home? Not many. Tell me how many SEC teams would win in Oregon.
I don't think you even watch these games. You just like arguing.
