Bailey Zappe, *******.

I thought Wonderlic had something to do with overzealous Houston fans.

Which one has physical limitations besides possibly Strong?
I'd guess that jitter77 might be referring to Willis's lack of ideal height for an NFL quarterback.

wonderlic only matters if a guy scores very low like lamar jackson 13 or vince young 6

they could have perfect scores and I still would prefer the Steelers just look to next years draft class

that said, if one is picked I will pull for him to lead the team to #7 and more

Kind of like Trubisky now...................................... But I hear yaz Coolie !!!!

its clearly not indicative of on the field performance.

That said,, im intrigued how 2 guys coming out early are WAY higher than a 6th year senior.

It's possible. Willis is 6'0". Howell is 6'1'. There are "star" QBs as short or shorter in the NFL.

Pretty good score Brady had a 33 and Peyton Manning only scored a 28. Being smart helps, but it wont cover up physical limitations
I was referring more toward accuracy. It doesnt matter how smart you are or if you know exactly where to throw the ball, if the ball doesnt get there then you arent going to succeed in the NFL.

I get it. I'm just not a believer in the idea that a QB can't improve his accuracy. Improve his mechanics, ability to read the field and anticipate, get him comfortable behind a good offensive line ... there's a lot that can be done to improve accuracy.

If I was a NFL GM, I’d use the Wonderlic as an inverse correlation to the likelihood that a player would make questionable decisions off the field.

But why go for a project with so many questions VS a prospect with less? Sure some can be developed and a lot fail. It is best to minimize the question marks when selecting a player in 1 so you aren't wasting such a high pick.

Oh, I never said I wanted them to take any of the project QBs available in this draft. I'd rather they take Olave, or Davis, or one of the CBs that should be available. But, since all indications are that they are at least leaning towards one of the QBs, I'd rather they take one with a high ceiling than one that has a high floor and low ceiling. Still wouldn't be happy with the pick.

If I had to pick one had to. I would go with the one with the quick release. He just happens to be mobile too. And probably the most accurate or one of the most accurate in the class.

Ben score was 18 I believe, and he’s a future HOF’er. The Wonderlic doesn’t measure intelligence, it is used to determine how well an individual retains information, or how to use critical thinking in a fluid situation. Basically how a person adapts or understands information in decisions based on time/place and circumstance. Some teams use it, others just to validate commitment to his future.
