Coolie's drinking again

coolie you have posted a lot of who you think is the best among Steeler players at different positions...

who is your favorite non-steeler player of all time, and maybe a guy you think gets overlooked by most fans

please don't say any former UH guys...we know you love all of them

Yep, act like an *** and be treated like an ***.

As far as Coolie goes, well everybody already knows.

I don't do anything except beer these days. A local brewer, Four Peaks, makes Kilt Lifter an amber ale. It's either 6 or 8%, but after 3-4 it doesn't matter.
yep everyone knows coolie is an ***....but we love him anyway

how many does it take to lift your kilt?? uh asking for a friend

favorite all time non steelers player....hmmmm....well current players you guys know would be Oliver and Dell

all time it is close between Earl Campbell and Barry Sanders...two completely different running backs

but watching Barry do what he could do was just amazing.

as for overlooked guys, I've posted before about Dan Pastorini

he was tough as nails and played with a lot of heart, if he had been able to get past the Steelers in 78 or 79 he could have had at least one ring and be remembered amoung the best ever

Pastorini was the guinea pig for some of the protection current qbs wear all the time

most notably the flak jacket which a friend of his invented so Dan could get out on the field vs the Steelers

nice info and choices coolie

so flip the script

what non steelers do you dispise the most
wow....that is a good question

hmmmm....cheaters like brady and all patsies....butthey don't top the list

Jack Tatum and other raiders were tops of the list for decades, ******* cheap shot artists

lewis, suggs and a few other ravens are high up there

but burfect takes the cake...he was just flat out dirty and never attempted to change

ok coolie you are obviously an old timer...what is your biggest heartbreak as a Steeler fan

oh hell

even with all the success...so many bad memories

tebow's OT pass
jessie james catch over turned
spin and falls fumble against GB
losing to the browns in the playoffs

oh so many

but the worst in my mind is still the 2nd O'Donnel pass straight to the chest of Larry Brown....******* sucks to this day

ok on the lighter side

what is your favorite steeler memory
obviously 6 super bowl wins are high on the list

hard to top Big Ben to Holmes....

cowher's first game vs the Oilers in the Astrodome..I was there and the fake punt was brilliant

Ben's tackle against the colts

the top memory comes down to two

2011 steelers visited houston, and even though the steelers lost, it was the first time I got to take my oldest son to see the steelers play in person. he had his Polamalu jersey on and his Terrible Towel in hand. walking in he was high fiving all the other Steelers fans tailgaiting and walking to their seats...

the only game topping it was the Steelers beating the seahawks since it was the first time my boy got to see the Steelers win it all. watching him jump up when Willie broke loose for his 75 yard run was ******* beautiful
