Coolie's lame offseason thread topic

Dave Butts (washinton redskins)

EDIT: Tuitt or Alualu who.................... pending on where you play him

butz derrrr. i used be a server in a local steakhouse in Centreville Va. Dave Butz would come in a few times a year and order a 65 oz prime rib(his number was 65)

I think I narrowed it down to three options.

1. Darrelle Revis-maybe could've been a Steeler if they hid their love for him a little better. Shutdown corner who is also physical. Ideal fit for this defense.

These next two are on my list for two reasons. First, I hated playing against these guys. Second, if I can't have a former Steeler player, I'm going with guys on a team built in the same mold.

2. Jonathan Ogden
3. Terrell Suggs

AAron Donald, Revis, Larry Allen...I'd be good with any of those.

Haloti Ngata, Marshall Yanda & Ed Reed
Bruce Smith
Chris Spielman
Junior Sean
LT = Lawrance Timmons.........
Jason Witten

Not suppose to pick STEELERS players. You will get Roasted spit on fired.

A bit of a shot in the dark here. Kam Chancellor. A truly dominating safety. Would have been a great Steeler. Under rated, derailed by injuries. I also would have taken Gronk any day. Great blocker, clutch catches. As much as people hTed him as a patriot,he would have been legendary here.

Heath Miller was the most complete TE ever, he wasn't legendary but truly underated.

Gronk would be here where this offense didn't use TEs.

I'm sure he would have made a difference but not sure of the legendary part due to how he would fit in this TE-less offense.

ALSO, how much did the cheating amplify his performance. Lot easier if QB knows what defense he is facing prior to snap.

First of all Heath ,if I remember correctly was a Steeler. Said no Steelers. Heath was one of the top 3 of my favorite players in that era. I know very well what he was.

No idea why you want to critique personal choices. Bored ?

As far as Gronk and your no use of TE comments. Heath was drafted in 2005. Gronk in 2010.
So you’re saying Ben didn’t use a TE in seasons 5-11 of Heath’s career. Lol. Right.

I can only imagine A double TE package with Gronk on the field in those days. He’s a great blocker just like Heath.
They didn’t use a TE after Heath retired because they never had a stud until last draft. Gronk would have filled the void all those years. And believe me,Ben would have used him. And yes. He would have been legendary. Went to a Pitt high school. Goofy off the field antics, party boy, along with pro bowl selections ,the fans would have loved him.

Yeah, yeah. You hate the Patriots. Red hot poker. All that stuff.

Sorry Steelmann, not meant as a personal attach of any kind. I do let my dislike of the cheatriots get the better of me at times.

All players that benefitted through the years of cheating get a way lesser degree of respect from me.

If Gronk had been here and BEN used him he would be much more respected and of course the "cheater" shadow wouldn't be present either.

All Good here

Jim Thorpe.
He would fix all of our offense, defense and special team's issues. And in his spare time, he could help coach

Brian Piccolo, ooooppps he was a RB.

How about Brian Bozworth..............
