Could we see Juju Sunday?

No but if we manage to win this week he'll be ready next week.

maybe being out for so long, he knows the super intense highly scientific playbook that takes mensas years to master.
good JuJU is a higher power .... he be fine

Being Canadian, guys like Myself, Sask and Steelmann have access to the CANADA playbook ........ it is pretty small so up here we call it ....Foreplays for Beavers ....

the "four" plays listed are ........1) run run Rudolph ........ 2) if at first you don't succeed, run it on 2nd & 3rd down again........3) Splashit down the field ........ and my favourite ... 4) 4th Quarter Naptime Special....... Ben there .... done that....hurry up .... already

I looked up the recovery time for a dislocated shoulder that required surgery. The different sites had wildly varying estimates. However, there's a range of between 3 months and 6 months. When JuJu was first injured, we heard 4 months. Which, well, most of us (if we're being honest) didn't expect this team to make the playoffs, and 4 months would have been after the season was over. JuJu was injured on Oct 11 .... three months ago. Given that he was a highly conditioned elite level athlete at the time of his injury, it's possible that his injury is healed and that they are truly looking at it from just a conditioning standpoint.

For JuJu to get to this point coming off of IR, he must be cleared from further injury. One of the biggest reasons he came back this year was to play with Ben. He will do anything to be out there for this game. I am sure he will be pushing the coaches to let him play. If he is in decent shape and since this wasn't a lower body injury where he has to worry about cutting, etc., he has probably already been doing that on his own. He's probably been using his personal jugs machine in addition to his rehab. This truly does fall on Tomlin letting him play. He won't be able to play every snap (DJ and Claypool should get the most snaps) but he is a much better option than Cody White, Washington, and even RayRay in most circumstances even without much practice. He and Ben should put in a few extra throws and see where he is come Saturday. He's a much bigger target than RayRay and a much better route runner. DJ, JuJu, and Claypool can still do some damage. JuJu brings the attitude and toughness back to the WR room. I'd play him.

That is a long absence to come back from with a couple of days of practice.

If it was Johnson or Claypool, I'd agree, but Juju seems to be the most technically sound and "natural" receiver the Steelers have and can probably get up to game speed by the second series or so.

In the same situation, the rust with Johnson or Claypool would probably be too much to overcome.

I’d take JuJu at 70% over Chase watch me drop this Claypool any day.

I don't think he'll play this week. Dislocated shoulder that needed surgery takes a while to heal, even if you're young and healthy. One bad hit and it could be a career ender. He's not risking his future to play one more game with the shell of Big Ben.

I realize that's a pretty pessimistic view, but I just can't see where he plays again this year regardless of how far the Steelers go.

I don't see him playing as he just started practicing. Just the short time span. I give him a week when they play whomever.😁

I believe they have like 21 days to designate him to roster and think they will use at least 14 of them.

Fans are fickle and can't look ahead for a players career security. His playing doesn't garantee a win but also doesn't gaurantee an injury either. The individual will make the decision ultimately.

He wouldn't have been activated if he wasn't completely healed. More likely, it's a matter of conditioning and shaking off the rust. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw him in a limited role this Sunday.

He's playing. I've seen enough player comments to read between the lines. I'd be shocked if he doesn't play.

I hear you but Tomlin has made too many boneheaded moves this season for me to be surprised if JuJu is ready and Tomlin still sits him. He'll probably have Harvin back there shanking 25-yard punts as well.

That wouldn't surprise me.
