Did you read my post further back in this thread? I stated that people are making the decision to vaccinate or not vaccinate based on political affiliation. Of that I have no doubt. Still doesn't change the fact that the government ****** this all up. And it shouldn't matter if there are liberals or conservatives that aren't getting vaccinated. The fact that so few people trust the government should be the greater concern. They should try repairing that instead of ridiculing people. Shaming people won't work because about 95% of Americans have no shame.
I got vaccinated to protect my wife. If not for her condition, I wouldn't have gotten vaccinated either. There is far too much that is unknown about LTSE. You might be ok now, but what about a year from now? Two years? Five Years? It's a legitimate concern.

It's all good. There are getting to be fewer and fewer people in this country that are willing to bow just because big gov says so. People want to see proof. I mean yeah, that vaccine might be good to keep from getting covid, but what's to say four years down the line that I don't end up with a third nipple growing out of my forehead?

What's not accurate at all is CDC approval. It's the FDA that approves and regulates/monitors vaccines in the United States.

Sorry, Tim I meant 50%+. The 65-70% is closer to the goal, to begin thinking about herd immunity. We’re not there yet, but hopefully inching closer.
The disparity between states remains, hopefully the red states start catching up soon, and nobody gets left behind, figuratively & literally.

Emphatically....we do NOT need to get to those figures to get to herd immunity.
For the love of God, will your side please start considering and factoring in natural immunity, which at this points protects MORE Americans than the vaccines?
When we couple those who have had COVID + vaccinations and get to 230Million COMBINED....estimates are we have reached herd immunity.
3 months ago we were over 180Million combined. We are likely near that point NOW.
