Tibs, since science is constantly evolving and we do not (that part is undeniable) know how these mRNA vaccines can effect the body 5-10 years from now, who will you blame if this causes say sterility in children who have been given the vaccine shot?

right now, the vaccine shot is the only man-made chance to prevent severe illness. It does not prevent spread. It does not prevent you from getting the virus. It also does not prevent the virus from making you sick. It only lessens the severity of the virus' capabilities. For people our age, that might be a good thing. Sterility at our age is or can be acceptable. I've no desire to change baby diapers at this point in my life.

So while you cheerlead the vaccine shot as being the greatest invention in human history (and vaccines are, but this is not), maybe look to the future like others here are.

While people do want to say "we did this during the Spanish Flu" and "everyone got a polio shot" - those vaccines were not as rushed and were studied more than these mRNA vaccines.

And this is what makes me skeptical. Not just that, but the way natural immunity is just discounted out of hand and that therapeutics are the devil, in spite of the fact that they seem to be working better than the "vaccine." I'm not much for conspiracies, at least not like wig, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out something is wrong here.

You know, my sister in law had covid pneumonia. Doctors still can't believe she survived. She was on her death bed. They were telling my brother in law to prepare for the worst. You know what saved her life? Remdesivir. If not for that, she's 6 feet under. But to hear the so called experts on CNN, MSN and the lot of them, that **** doesn't work, only the vaccine can save us.

the ONLY problem with relying on natural immunity, IMO, is that you may suffer severely if your immune system doesnt weed out the virus. while that is what some people are relying on, and to each their own, i can understand both sides of the coin.

the virus effects mostly the older population. fine, have them get the shot.
then, it effects age groups differently as immune systems get stronger as the age decreases. then it should be a choice and not a "mandate".
