The Catholic Church went above and beyond in covering up priest on alter boys, priest and nuns, priest and school kids for decades upon decades.
Catholic Church atrocities date all the way back to its origin story with Emperor Constantine.
The Spanish Inquisition, missionaries forcefully bribing hungry indigent people with food if they convert to Catholicism, etc.
