What they have done is create the construct of "gender identity" so as to be able to treat their sex and identity as two different concepts. AKA, while I was born with a dick, I FEEL like a woman. My gender identity trumps my biological/scientific sex.

So they are dismissing SCIENCE in favor of a construct that is made up junk science.
