I think you're forgetting the reason Flog was Flogged for his DG comments. In his never-ending stupidity, he made this comment in February 20204:

"Here’s one cause and it’s a ******* disgusting one at that. I’ve been on a few road trips this past year through Appalachia and you can drive for an hour and the only business you see is a dollar store."

Your argument with him may have been different than mine, but I challenged his stupid claim - only store you'll see when you drive for 60 miles. ONLY STORE.

When challenged that this claim was bullshit he doubled down defending it, before deflecting with "Nuh uh!s" and other Wonder Woman tactics he possesses. I even challenged him to post a screen shot of said one hour trek through Appalachia so we could verify this claim. He would not (could not).

Of course, as with everything else, he's never admitted to being wrong on the topic.

Pure comedy gold.

I also remember that portion of the argument. And also dispute that as well.
I drove from Ohio to GA, and the Tri-State area of NC, TN, GA is all kinds of nothing around for long stretches. LONG stretches.
But it's traveling though mountains, VERY winding curvy roads, so it takes longer to get places.
But I never went 60 miles without seeing stores, specifically grocery stores.
I just wanted to point out the article and/or Trog were being deceptive, as I'm sure these DG Markets are what are being referenced but not identified as such.
