Doctors do not practice the “one size fits all” approach.
My guess is that old people are at a great risk of dying without the shot, so you take your chances with the shot.
Why risk the possible adverse side effects for younger folks when the shot is not necessary?
Sounds simple to me. Why do you struggle with that?
