Covid Vaccine

Got the second shot yesterday. Feel like death warmed over this morning. I have absolutely zero energy, every muscle and joint in my body aches, Have a mild headache and I have a fever of 100. Hell, even my feet and hands hurt. Supposed to go get some ink done tonight. Probably gonna go ahead and reschedule.

EDIT: I had zero side effects from the first shot aside from injection site soreness. This thing is an *** kicker.

Yeah I took all that **** when I was in too. Big difference is none of those are RNA based.

That's great, but when your wife has basically no immune system, you don't have the luxury of being cavalier about these things. Gotta do what I gotta do.

Good news!!!

Pope Frank and Creepy Joe both want to allow the IP for Covid vaccines to be shared!

We are all in this together!

Good to see Beijing Basement Boy could find time in his busy child-fondling schedule, and the Chief Defender of child molesters could pull himself away from re-assigning child molesters to a new location, to offer their opinions.

Here's an idea: Why don't those two worthless ***** invent something and then they can do whatever they want with their invention.

I think I mentioned that my sister had a bad reaction to her second shot. They came in for Mother's Day, we rolled into my parents' driveway right behind them, and she gets out of their car with a cane and isn't moving any better than our 85 year old dad who just got out of the hospital. The shot triggered some kind of rheumatism and inflammation and she can barely move (and she said today was better). Some sort of "marker" in her blood where your normal numbers are between 0 and 10, if you have malaria your number can be as high as 50, and hers is 285. This is not good, not good at all.

One of the guys at work - about 50 years old, smoker, decent health - got the vaccine on Thursday. By Saturday he was air lifted to the biggest hospital around with kidney failure. He is now on a respirator and going down hill.
An elderly friend of mine got the first shot back in February on a Monday and within 2 days was sick and by the weekend O2 saturation had dropped and he was admitted for Covid and died a couple of weeks later. I was actually talking to him on the phone while he was standing in the long line for the first shot and he was healthy and in good spirits. I mean, I guess he died of Covid but it's not like anyone was able to visit him once he went into the system.

Needless to say, I have questions.

yeah, but its not like the vaccine is the first to manipulate a person's own genetic material
Luckily, the have ample safety studies on the vaccine's efficacy, short and long term side effects.

It's just "hacking the software of life," what could go wrong?

Update. My sister got to the doctor today and was diagnosed with Polymyalgia Rheumatica, wtf that is. One of the triggers is your body's immune system response to certain viruses. Treatable with steroids. Can last one to five years. I told her to hit the gym.

Jesus Ron, so sorry to hear that. Best wishes to her & family.

Sorry to hear this. Hope she recovers quickly.

Thanks. She has an appointment at the Cleveland Clinic next week (she doesn’t live far from there). No doubt it was triggered by the vaccine.

Best of everything for your sis Ron..

The Clinic is the only shining light in that Shithole of a city...
She is in good hands.

My kids, ages 12 and 14, just got their first shots of the Pfizer vaccine this morning.

We have almost too many vaccines now. Wait lines are zero. No excuses for not getting one. I just don't understand the logic that people actually think there is more risk in the vaccine than in the disease itself. We are over a billion vaccinated in the world and the coverage/documentation of reactions is such a small percentage (and no deaths as far as I know). Compared to a disease that has CONSERVATIVELY killed millions around the world - even occasionally those young and healthy. Not to mention costly hospital stays, complications (both mild and severe) and who knows what else around the corner with Covid variants.

And every study says the vaccine reduces your chance of dying from Covid to 0% and greatly reduces you chances of having hospitalization or serious complications.

You guys that are holding out are kind of looking stupid. The conspiracy this vaccine is somehow bad for us is being debunked every day as thousands more get it each day.

You have more of a chance to have complications from a bee sting than the vaccine right now. Wake up.

Let me help you out Skippy, I'm not taking something that was built to alter my ******* DNA...for a virus that has a .02% chance of killing me. Capisce' ??

please report how your kids are doing this weekend. seriously. I'm not being snarky.

I had my first shot of Pfizer two weeks ago. I get the second next week. I had tremendously excruciaiting nearly non-stop lower back pain about 2 days later. Lasted 8 days. Nothing I could do helped for too long. Keep an eye on your kids..

I am going to hold off vaxing my 14 year old. It's a risk/benefit thing. His risk of having a bad result from the CV is practically nill. Even an infection at this point would give him better immunity than a vaccine. My wife and I are fully vaxed, so that is the other consideration. Just about every adult in our families are vaxed.

I don't know of significant resistance to getting the vaccine, del. But here are the things the powers-that-be are doing that are causing citizens to wonder what is going on:
  • The health officials are telling those who have had the Chinese flu and recovered to get the vaccine. Wait, what? The vaccine produces antibodies, protecting the recipient from the virus. Recovering from the virus produces antibodies, protecting the person from the virus. Makes no sense, at all. Zero.
  • Second, the health officials are telling those who received the vaccine to continue to social distance and wear a mask, as if they did not have the vaccine. Uhhh, why? "You can still get the virus even if you get the vaccine."
  • Yeah, but that is along the lines of the number of people who have an adverse reaction to the vaccine. So because only a small number of people have an adverse reaction, you should still take the vaccine, but because only a smaller number of people who have had the vaccine might still get the flu, you should pretend you didn't get the vaccine.
  • Wait, what?
Also, del, unfortunately we have been told so many things that are inconsistent, or simply not true, over the past 14 months, people no longer believe the public health officials like they used to.

There are no long term studies on these experimental vaccines. You are the experiment. I don't see how vaccinating children with experimental vaccines is "following the science" although I respect that it is a personal decision.

I personally knew a man who died from Covid 4-5 weeks after his first shot. So the "0 %" is already discredited.

I can tell you the people pushing these vaccines the hardest like Bill Gates have a concurrent agenda of population control and depopulation. They believe overpopulation is one of the most pressing problems of mankind. Gates is on record as saying vaccines and contraceptives help to control population growth. Can he please explain?

Now they are pushing to vaccinate (alter the DNA of) children with no long term studies on reproductive health.

I don't see the upside other than the nebulous feeling that somehow one is being a "good citizen."
