Covid Vaccine

I got my first dose of Pfizer shortly after noon EST. I'm a wuss and looked away and wasn't even sure they had given me the shot, but I'm starting to feel a bit of site soreness now. I literally did not feel a thing when they administered the shot.
I got the J&J on Tuesday. No problem till yesterday when my arm and neck started hurting like a mother fer. My neck was stiff as hell this morning and it was tough getting out of bed. I had about 4 IPAs this afternoon and put heat on it. It finally loosened up. Maybe it was just a coincidence that it happened a couple days after my shot but I don't think so.

I had a solid appendix before getting the Pfizer shot. Now I have incision marks where it was removed.

Thanks, Joe and the Ho!

I got the pfizer vaccine and I'm just fine.

Maybe your appendix was due to go bad, regardless?

You’re talking facts. We don’t do that round here. Aintchu see Fibs and Flog and IQ21 posts? Damn, son.

My arm still hurts. Feels like I have a fn rock in my armpit. They say oh you know your shot is working if your arm hurts. Fk them... Should have never gotten the shot.

What's a blood clot feel like?

This is not medical advice and I'd strongly suggest you seek some, but swelling in the armpit sounds like swollen lymph nodes. A reported but harmless immune system reaction to the vaccine. You could feel it for a few weeks. In the meantime massaging the vaccine site and Tylenol helped me a lot with the arm soreness.

I got my 2nd Pfizer dose on Friday afternoon. I didn't have any symptoms of illness, but I may have been tired. It's kinda hard to tell because I feel like I'm always tired, and I had a couple of beers afterwards. One thing that seemed a bit different compared to the first dose was the soreness in my shoulder. Maybe it was just due to getting two shots in the same shoulder, or the location of the 2nd shot, but it was sore within a few hours and hurt like a mother later in the day and yesterday. It's still pretty frickin' sore, but is getting better. My shoulder was sore the next day after the first dose, but it was nothing in comparison to the 2nd dose.

The lymph nodes in my armpit felt like they were going to explode for about 2-3 weeks after my JnJ shot. Still a little sore but getting better.

Is that normal?

My soreness is isolated to the deltoid. After my first shot, I really was not expecting significant soreness, but that's what I got. It's quite a bit better today, which is good.

Who knows. Seriously, who knows. The information out there is so scattered I couldn't get a good read on it. My doctor was basically take two ibuprofens and call me in a year or so when they have a better idea of the side effects.

The shingles vaccine hurt a lot worse than my second Moderna.

It's instances like this that piss me off, and admittedly I've had both doses, but I'm close to 70 as well. This insane push to vaccinate everyone is just that, insane and possibly criminal. This kid had no health issues and was not on any medications, but his parents chose to vaccinate him because President Potato wants better vaccination numbers.

There are thousands of people dying from the vaccine that fake news MSM will not report on. Anyone who speaks out negatively about their own experience and those who state that they will not get the vaccine are ostracized....for a virus that is basically the run of the mill flu with a 99.98 survival rate and was politicized in order to steal the election with fake mail in ballots.

But yeah now that new version is “really bad”.

The ultimate telltale sign to me that something just isn't right is when the government has to hold lotteries to get people to take it and all you see on Big Tech platforms are "nudges" to be a good person and get the shot. I'm not against vaccines in general, but pushing them on kids, especially when these potentially fatal side effects are emerging is downright criminal.

Even the damn CDC graphs show the extremely low mortality rate for young people, and we ultimately don't know if that takes into account extreme obesity, multiple comorbidity issues etc.

This right here is a big red flag:

It's like a "how to sell" seminar with her telling them how to handle objections and everything. And don't forget about that assumptive close!

So uh, the WHO is actually saying that kids should not get the vaccination at this time:

Children should not be vaccinated for the moment.

There is not yet enough evidence on the use of vaccines against COVID-19 in children to make recommendations for children to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Children and adolescents tend to have milder disease compared to adults. However, children should continue to have the recommended childhood vaccines.

Huh, some good tips on how to answer explanations from citizens who don't want or don't need the vaccine. The Vice-Cackler skipped the suggested response to one comment I am sure would be heard in my neighborhood: "Get the **** off my property."
