Covid Vaccine

July 2 was the Friday before a long holiday weekend. People were working, tabulating data. Then it was...well...the weekend. Then it was Monday the 5th, a day off for most companies. Then it was the 6th. We all know that deaths reporting isn't accurate and weekends have led to piss poor reporting and dumps of death data on days following weekends and holidays. Notice that the Friday before was 330 deaths...then it drops to the 100s while everyone was off...then on Tuesday the 6th the numbers go back up.

Now average them out. Good Lord, in one post you talk about trends, then you abandon trends when they don't fit your ideology.

There is a difference between a recommendation to get the vax if you'd had COVID v a study that determines how long immunity lasts if you have had the infection. Try figuring out the difference. COUNTLESS articles have been posted here talking about how long natural immunity has been lasting and how long they think it will continue to last.

My son is going to college in a few weeks (a major SEC school). They sent out guidelines for entry into the dorms. Proof of vaccination or proof of COVID infection within the past 90 days.

Thank God some organizations are recognizing natural immunity works.

Immunological memory​

Immunological memory is the technical term for immunity. There are three types of white blood cells that help our immune systems to protect us: macrophages, B-lymphocytes, and T-lymphocytes.

  • Macrophages: These cells will attack and break apart viruses and bacteria when we are sick or shortly after we receive a vaccine. What they leave behind when they’re done are known as antigens.
  • B-lymphocytes: These cells, also known as “B cells,” make antibodies to attack the antigens the macrophages left behind. The antibodies are unique for that particular virus or bacteria. If the same infection gets into your body again, your B cells will make these unique antibodies and kill the infection right away.
  • T-lymphocytes: These cells — known as “T cells” — are responsible for taking care of cells that have already been infected by the virus or bacteria. They will kill these damaged cells and the infection inside of them. These cells are also responsible for remembering each and every virus and bacteria we come into contact with throughout our lives.
When a healthcare provider does a blood test to measure your “immunity” to a virus, they are usually looking for whether your B cells produce antibodies for that virus. For some infections, they might also look at how many T cells are in your blood.

With COVID-19 antibody testing, B cell antibodies (called IgG and IgM) are measured. Researchers are trying to find a pattern among people who have recovered from COVID-19. This is so that, in the future, healthcare providers will be able to tell with a simple blood test if you are immune.

Until recently, researchers thought that natural immunity to COVID-19 only lasted for about 2 to 3 months before fading. There were even reports of people getting sick twice. But as experts have learned more about COVID-19, they’ve found that immunity lasts much longer than that.

One recent study found that natural immunity is still present in people 8 months after they were infected. Another study noted that parts of the immune response of people who had COVID-19 are similar to those of people who were sick in the early 2000s with SARS (a virus very similar to the one that causes COVID-19). Because of this, some experts think natural immunity to the coronavirus might last for several years.

No, I don't know where this is going. But I can spot trends, something your daft *** couldn't see if they were stapled to your forehead. Why you like to make predictions is beyond me. You suck at them.

You can preach fear porn all you like about cases and hospitalizations. Deaths is the ultimate measure. Guess what? Another day, another flat measurement on deaths.

7 day average deaths - 277. Still below ******* JUNE levels.

If you can spot trends, why were you insisting a couple weeks ago that cases were not rising and Covid was “over”?

It's ideological for everyone, whether you admit it or not. Might not be the only reason, but it is at least part of it.

On a side note, does anyone thinks this nation survives another 10 years? 5 Years? I don't. The **** we disagree over has gone past ideology and straight to downright ******* stupid.

Cases weren't rising, at the time cases were dropping. Likewise, I didn't say it was over. I've said we will always have COVID. I've encouraged you to look up the word endemic.

Mandating Americans get vaccinated isn't who we are. Mandating people take an un-tested vaccine that could have their immune systems attack their healthy organs isn't intelligent.

If this were tested, validated, proven, like flu vaccines...I'd have no problem with it. I've said this all along.

My responses on this have and continue to be rational. You are the one rooting for mandatorily vaccinating everyone with an unproven set of vaccines. That is, as I repeat, chilling.

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – State workers and health care employees will now be required to show proof of vaccine or get tested for COVID at least once a week.
The governor announced the new guidance today and is urging private employers to “replicate the example.”
This comes as the highly contagious Delta variant is now dominant in the state and COVID rates have skyrocketed in the month since California officially reopened, including breakthrough cases among vaccinated Californians.
A new analysis finds several counties with above-average vaccination rates also have higher COVID case rates, while case rates are falling in counties with below-average vaccination rates.
Statewide data analyzed by the Bay Area New Group found the five counties, Los Angeles, San Diego, Alameda, Contra Costa, and San Francisco, have both a higher percentage of people who are fully vaccinated than the state average and a higher average daily case rate.
Compare that to these five counties: Modoc, Glenn, Lassen, Del Norte, and San Benito, which have below-average vaccination rates and decreasing case rates.

Posted this in another thread.

Was talking with my daughter on the phone last night, and she was telling me that just about everybody that comes into the ER at Vidant in Greenville, NC with symptoms is testing positive for this new Delta variant. She said that they had 19 yesterday, all were admitted and all were fully vaccinated except for one. Since hospitals keep stats on this stuff for whatever reason, she also stated that those that are fully vaccinated that are either infected or re-infected, the vast majority were given the Pfizer vaccine. She stated very few were given Moderna or J&J. So the Pfizer vaccine seems to be wilting under Delta Variant. Great. I vaxxed with Pfizer.

She told me it's getting pretty bad in Pitt County right now, and with college re-starting in person learning in August, I don't see it getting any better. They are talking about putting restrictions back in place, and I think it is only a matter of time until we go back about a year to that ****. Be safe out there guys.

It's certainly strange. People that are vaccinated are getting infected and re-infected at a higher rate than those not vaccinated in some places. Pitt County, NC seems like it might be one of them. It makes no sense, but not much does anymore.

It's crazy to me how they hound Fraudci to go on Television constantly and coerce him into spewing narratives and half truths while he really just wants to be working on, you know, getting an effective vaccine to the public. The man just wants to be a scientist and do his job, people!

Experimental vaccines in their extremely early development stages for a virus that mutates - not actually protecting them against that virus - isn't really that strange. The influenza vaccine has like a 40-60% efficacy rate last I checked. People developing natural antibodies against viruses though has been occurring since they've been recording it. It's really not that strange, but when people are more focused on politics and fear porn, the actual data and history of respiratory viruses gets lost, apparently.

Speaking of the flu, what happened to it? After millennium & millennium, it just disappeared?
 
Here is a Dr from the UK that gives a daily analysis of the pandemic. He has over a million subscribers. I have been following him for a year. Here he offers explanation for the breakthrough cases.

 
I'm not posting this to try & make a point or anything, I'm genuinely curious how a vaccinated person could be more contagious than an unvaccinated person? If a person develops natural antibodies to a virus, their own bodies themselves help them to become more immune - but that doesn't mean they can't transmit the virus to someone else. This makes no sense to me. Zona or any other medical professionals here, if you can help answer this one, much appreciated:
