OK, personal story time…..

My 78 year old mother JUST got diagnosed with COVID today.
She is/was FULLY vaccinated. Triple Moderna, with the third/booster having been administered about 2 weeks ago.
She has NOT been hospitalized, but she went to the ER because she was in a bad way for a few days. They only gave her a prescription nasal spray because she did also get diagnosed with a severe sinus infection, too.

Would she be even worse had she not got vaccinated?
Did the vaccine keep her from being hospitalized?
Whatever anyone’s opinion is, from my mom’s own mouth, “I feel lied to. I got vaccinated because I thought that it was supposed to keep me from getting this sick.”

Hoping for the best...The only thing that's going to get us past this ***** is effective treatments...Why aren't we leading the league in this?

Personal story time here as well (it's nothing compared to what many of you have gone through, but it's similar to fedderone's story):

My stepdad (80-years old) went an entire year with this bullshit in the air, with multiple comorbidities, completely fine - and then decides to get the Pfizer shot.

My mom (75-years old) went an entire year with this bullshit in the air, with multiple comorbidities, completely fine - and she decided against getting the shot.

Not even 2 weeks go by, and my stepdad is in the ER with Covid - then developed pneumonia. I thought he wasn't going to make it but he somehow pulled through. He hasn't been the same since though, sleeping 12 hours+ a day and can barely function.

My mom tested positive for Covid as well when he went to the hospital, and she had a couple of days of feeling some minor cold-type symptoms, but other than that, okay.

She's really worried he's going to be gone soon - and that's really her only symptom right now. I really don't get it, but from every family/friend experience, I'm just more and more vaccine hesitant. This has devastated people's lives and I hope karma is an especially nasty ***** with this one.

The problem is that most of the public wrongly views the current vaccines as sterilizing vaccines when they should have always been viewed more like flu shots from the beginning.

The typical flu vaccine has only about 50% effectiveness, but many people fail to see the value that mere 50% has in terms of mitigating the overall effects of a virus.

COVID mutates much more faster than the common flu, and despite that, compared to the annual flu shots, the Covid vaccines have performed better.

They were less effective against Delta and might be useless against Omicron, assuming it does take hold globally, but that does not mean the protection they've provided the population over the past year had no value and the vaccines were useless.

All of this overanalyzing and arguing over efficacy rates, which are important, but with which people fail to see the obvious benefit of some protection over the baseline of none.

And out of your diatribe, you leave out the significant vaccine injuries and deaths these vaccines cause. See....if these were billed as just shots, and were as harmless as flu shots, the world at large would have gotten them.

But they billed them as vaccines. They are not. We didn't confuse ****. They, you, and your side told us they were vaccines.

And they are highly dangerous, unlike flu shots.

10% of all vaccine adverse events are reported to VAERS. There are countless articles out there about how so few events are reported because the reporting is too complicated, OR hospitals/nurses/doctors are encouraged not to report them. These numbers are a subset of the overall problem.





IF these vaccines shots weren't so dangerous, people would be lining up.

If what you were saying is true, then we would see numerous examples of politicians violating their own lockdown orders, not wearing masks despite their own orders to wear masks, getting fake vaccines that are in actuality saline solutions, not wearing masks while the "help" wears masks, using the Chinese flu as an excuse to issue patently illegal orders that simply increase their powers, issuing orders that make things vastly worse instead of better simply to increase their power, removing their own family from situations that would be covered by their own orders to save them from their orders ...

Who knows. We have been lied to from the get. Maybe it did and if that is the case, I’m glad she did for you and your fam. Maybe it didn’t and she is like most and got through by her own accord.

The fact they didn’t give her more treatment is bs. That is what this fight needs to be about. Treatment, early. Not poke poke poke.

Since the vaccines we have had several employees test positive, but only 1 resident contacted it through spread. When we were at the worst it spread through our whole building. Is it the shot, natural immunity, better awareness, or just dumb luck. There is really no way to say. Just hope it stays out

Wife and I are going to get tested this morning. Both of us came down with an awful cough, chest pain, etc. on Friday. I have never had such a painful cough. Both of us have had fever off and on since Saturday. No energy, muscle aches, it's awful.

If the vaccines worked, that third spike of cases that beat all of their prior loads doesn't happen.

They were 80% vaccinated at that point.

The vaccines work because Israel’s Covid death rate during the third spike never got above .33/100k and is currently .02. Contrast that with West Virginia’s failure that is currently 32X that of Israel and about to get worse.

The weirdest part of this whole thing is that Liberals are by and far tge largest proponents of the American spike protein vaccines, especially the MRNA ones, but the vaccine plan was developed and enabled by the trump administration and the vaccine makers are two of the biggest pharmaceutical companies that liberals traditionally rail against for their dishonesty and greed and the third was a failing ten year old company that specializes in mrna products but never ever made a successful one and was in danger of going out of business if this deal fell through…

This **** is veering out of control here in Europe, yet again. Particularly Central Europe. Like ******* Groundhog Day. Cases skyrocketing, chunk of the population wearing tinfoil hats spewing conspiracies, refusing to get vaccinated. Boom! Austria just went to a full, two-week lockdown. Everything shut down, stores, bars, restaurants closed. Slovakia just announced the same. They too are going to a full, two-week lockdown, everything shut down. Here in Hungary, it's back up to 10k+ new cases a day. Mandatory facemasks at all indoor premises, including public transport, stores, bars & cafes. Since this government mimics whatever Austria's doing, we're presuming a newer shutdown is around the corner. Which is gonna suck mightily for Christmas holidays and businesses. Seems like it's never going to end. Each round, same ****. Numbers go up, then down, then back up, then down. Wave after wave after wave. I pray this doesn't hit the States after Thanksgiving. If you guys stateside are heading in this same direction, brace for the worse. Stay safe, folks.
