Damn I need what ever Pat Bostick is on, LOL

He just said on the radio that the Steelers have an all-pro caliber RB in Warren. LOL.
What was his justification for that brash statement? averaging 3.4yds per carry and don't blame the OL for all of it, he rushed for 4.3 last season. his best year was '23 with 5.3 per, but didn't get over 1000yds.

LOL, no clue, he just said having an all pro caliber RB will really help this OL out.

Season is still young. Hope Warren steps up. It will go along way in helping out Offense if he is averaging 5 yards a pop....simply a 4 yard avg would be nice.

The only reason his average was so high the past few seasons is because he was the 3rd down back.

Lots of things I like about Jaylan Warren. His vision, the way he picks and hits the hole, his explosiveness hitting holes, his blocking, catching out of the bf, all that but Jaylan is not an all pro caliber rb. That distinction goes to guys with names like Sequan Barkley and Derrick Henry.
I think he can have a nice season here as the lead back but certainly not all pro.

I agree on what most are saying about Jaylen, but give him another game or two and he will be stepping up more and more.

His vision was a little slow in this last game, just rust. He needs the bigger load than Gainwell, that’s for sure.

Agree and another fine example of how stats can be misleading.

Its easier to have a nice APC when the starter has been pounding on the defense most of the game

In his second game as the Starter Jaylen ripped off a bigger gain than Najee ever has college and NFL in over 2000+ touches.

The long gainer he had last week gives me hope, but it is still way too early to cheer or worry. An OL this inexperienced will take time, maybe even more considering the coaching they are saddled with.

I will watch, as I always do, but I feel this year is more of a developmental year than EVERYONE wants to admit. This is why I didn’t really favor the DK signing, GP being traded, Cam and Watt being given huge deals.

Najee would be helping AR so much at this point with his ability to grind out tough yards behind a developing O-line, but I get it you can't pay everyone if you want to bring in shiny new toys.

Najee barely got paid. They didn't want him back.

Oline opened holes for the RBs in the 1st drive and the last drive, the rest of the game they couldn't buy a clue. At least gives me hope that with time and experience this young line can be a positive factor, but they better ******* hurry and be 60 minutes men

and Najee was near the top for 20+ yrd runs in 23 i believe. There is a big difference in being an everydown back vs a situational back

Feel bad for Najee his career is probably over. Most RB never fully recover from Achilles injury. When you're already a backup that mountain is impossible.
Another RB Tomlin rode the wheels off.
