DeMarvin Leal cut

The only position that seems to happen with is O Line going back a few years but wee have improved there with Khan. Beachum and Dotson being the two.
I thought Beachum did develop into a pretty decent left tackle (from being a 7th round pick) at the Steelers and the reason he wasn't re-signed at the end of his rookie contract was financial (and maybe because the last year of his rookie contract he copped an ACL injury).

Beachum's contract history since leaving the Steelers suggests he hasn't developed into anything beyond the serviceable tackle that he was with the Steelers (average salary about $4.5m per year since his Steelers days and neither Jacksonville nor New York Jets renewed him, and Arizona contracts have been oe and two year deals).

I never understood the Leal pick. Maybe could've been a good player if he landed in a system better suited for his size and skill.
Or maybe he could have been a good player if he just landed in a system?

Some do, some don’t.

I saw Kelvin Beachum starting LT for AZ Cardinals (i think that).

There’s others as well.

He was developed to that level by the Steelers. I'm pretty sure money (and possibly injury) was the main reason he didn't stay, not lack of performance/development with the Steelers.

I would just prefer that they quit trying to be cute or “smarter” than the rest of the league. Identify the positions of need, then go get guys that actually PLAY that position. Quit trying to convert players to new positions all the time and wasting picks.

I think sometimes linemen are given up on too early. They come into the league as 21 year olds. Yes they're as big as full grown men but haven't really played against full grown men yet. It takes some of them time to adjust and mature. If you find one that can step in and contribute right away, he's a blue chipper.

O to have MVP Rodgers and not Mr Rodgers.

He has some value on the PS for an emergency need as he knows the scheme.
Hes a third round pick who has not been able to carver out a role in 3 years. I thought maybe he was a poor scheme fit but the fact no one picked him up.....sure there are guys I dont even know names of on PS. So ok. He will never ne a player for this team. Admit the mistake move on.

Agreed long term but short term having him on the PS is hurting anything.
